play the pc version with cheat engine to speed up the shit gameplay

Vita version with the OG soundtrack dlc

Sky Trilogy and Crossbell duology act as a prologue to the start of the real series, Cold Steel, and as such are entirely possible to skip since Cold Steel fills you in on what happened in those games.
>inb4 seething Skyboomers give me (You)s
You know I'm right, why would CS comprise half the series otherwise?

@472431896

Because it's cute

seething Skynigger

Vita version has the speed up feature built in the game

There is no bad way to play Estelle's games!
But I like the PC version best!

Play PC GoG v2018 version, it's got DirectX9.0c support and Turbo

There's fast forward on PPSSPP

You should play the Gagharv trilogy first.
There are som really nice stories, and since they are more primitive than trails it's hard to go back to them

If you've got Android play it on PPSSPP. I found it more enjoyable playing it on a portable platform compared to playing it at my desk on PC.

PPSSPP won't run it natively at 60fps

who the fuck has the time to play multiple 100+ hours jrpgs lmao

Play the PC version with the voice patch. It has shit like turbo mode and some translation changes that the PSP version didn't get

I had cash laying about so I bought the first game on PC and then I purchased it for my PSP.
Fun game.

Look, everyone! Look at the wagie and laugh!

I am a massive wagecuck and loved playing these games

PC had a turbo mode patched in

PC. They've updated the translation, and the 3rd game is only available on PC

The older games suck and aren't important, skip them and start with Cold Steel. Reminder to pirate the PC version instead of giving xseed money.

I'm pretty sure it does and even if it doesn't, it doesn't really matter for a game like this. But then again if you care about muh grafix that much even for a game like this then yes the PC version would be ideal as always. I personally prefer to play this kind of games on my phone with an android controller, i still get 1080p/60FPS performance anyway and that's all i need

test

Alright I got the GOG version on PC.

Does this game have a lot of missables like in Tales games where you will miss a lot of sidequests if you don't do X action before Y point in the story?

Unfortunately, yes.

>Does this game have a lot of missables
Like you wouldn't believe, its a staple of the series. A lot of it isn't even quests, its side stories the act out over the course of multiple games.

Talk to NPCs constantly

Yup. The majority of the sidequests are timed so you should do them as soon as you get the chance, and as far as I remember there are also one or two hidden ones that are easy to miss.
The ultimate weapons are also locked behind collecting several books that are all missable, and you can only get one weapon(out of two) per playthrough.
Basically you shouldn't expect to do everything unless you play with a guide.
Also, if you like lore and world building then listen to and talk to the NPCs after every single story trigger because they constantly get new dialogue

Alright this sounds like a good idea, thanks fellas. I usually don't like playing with a guide because of muh immersion, but I'll just talk to NPCs all the time as a compensation

Don't play enything with steel in the title.
