It's a hollow ring shaped building. The ground floor is just the lobby, maintenance, and restricted areas as well as basement access. The room numbers start counting at the next floor.

The rooms are designated like so: The room above the entrance is 1A (or A1 - some of the older tenants read the signs right to left as the building is based on a Japanese design). Then there are 25 more rooms around the ring, up to 1Z. Then the next floor up is 2A, and so on.

The lower 200 floors are compact spaces. Each "unit" actually has two apartments, so apartment 103C is actually split into two living spaces, 103C-1 and 103C-2, each with a separate tenant. These are generally the lower class domiciles rented by several poor people at a time.

The next 400 are laid out normally. Each unit is one apartment. Every 4th floor has its rooms replaced with amenities, such as a basic gym, an ice machine, and a small library (yet to be used). These are also the floors where garbage and sewage are processed, though maintenance delays have led to tenants in this area flinging their waste out the window instead. Therefore, the ground level courtyard, once a green space used in promotional material, is now a fetid swamp of trash and the mutated creatures that feed off it.

Beyond floor 600 are the suites. These are nice apartments with more space, generally rented by wealthier tenants. There are 200 floors of these. Each room is larger than the ones on the lower floor, so there are only 7 per floor, apartments A through G. These apartments are well-maintained by staff who arrive mostly by helicopter and descend from the top floor by special elevators that do not connect to the lower levels.

If one were to go up those elevators, they'd reach the next 100 floors, the ultra-suites. These were originally at the top of the building, but later additions topped even them. Every other floor is a promenade with various shops, bars, and all other manner of amenities, all complimentary and paid for by the exorbitant rent. There is only one room per floor here, and each floor is has the plan of a filled-in circle, so it's one large circular area, with about the same floor space as a large home. There are said to be state-of-the-art 360 degree viewport windows which can be adjusted, dimmed, and so on, for unparalleled views.

Unparalleled, at least, with the exception of the top floors, the Penthouses. These floors were added on only recently, and are said to be on the absolute cutting edge. No one has ever seen what is on these floors exactly, and it's unknown how one even obtains an apartment above floor 900. What we do know from outside observation is that there are balconies, and several dedicated staff, typically young women in maid uniforms, have been observed cleaning these areas. Armed guards are said to stand at the entrance to the elevators leading to these floors, a far cry from the simple bouncers that stand guard to the suites.

Furthermore, we know that floor 1000 lacks any windows, contrary to the rest of the building. Additionally, through use of electronic imaging we have concluded that there are no elevators accessible from the Ultra-Suites which service that floor.
