how does anyone seriously find this fun? like, seriously. what is the point? especially in this kind of game. you're just completely immune to playing the game.

Learn some situational awareness, loser. Archers in games like Chivalry are fun because when you run up to them they panic and melt like butter in your now bloody hands. And if there's an archer on your team you can kick him when he's aiming for funsies.

If you get annoyed by an archer, start just going after archers. They'll eventually realize they can't compete and switch to a normal class

archers can have a pretty big impact even if they aren't getting headshots because in a game where you die in 3-5 hits, changing that into 2-4 hits when someone hits you or your target in the arm with an arrow is a pretty big deal. bows are best used in a SUPPORT role in Mordhau to enable your melee bros to get shit done

You're assuming every archer is a shitter. If it's a good player, you won't get that chance. Ranged playstyles will always have an advantage over melee.

Pic related pretty much has the same issue, especially since the last 2 classes added were ranged. Although the devs are addressing issues to make it less annoying, sometimes I feel like the game would just be better without the ranged classes. I still really like the game though.
