Return of Chameleos with an overhauled moveset, it's such a cool design and a wasted opportunity since it's so slow and static.

I'm down with Chameleos only if they bring back the old style invisibility instead of 4th gen's teleport nonsense.

Don't play World, but I still wish you guys the best.
Is doing content solo ok in World? I can only play on ps4 since my laptop is shit, but I don't want to buy ps plus since I'm not interested.

Solo is alright, it's pretty easy due to how they did the quest balancing since now you can go from solo to multi mid-quest.
But it's not like you're locked out of any content. At least I think so, I'm unsure if the event quest rotation is behind PS+ or not.

You can solo everything including the dialed up endgame shit (feels like clearing G rank hub in high rank gear for comparison, most things will oneshot you but it's entirely possible). I prefer the classic gameplay too, but World honestly isn't bad if you play solo.

Thanks for feedback guys, I might consider playing World sometime I might pirate it, maybe I'll get it working to 20 fps, and then buy on steam..
Also, I've heard World doesn't have unique armor and weapons for each monster, is that true? It would be actually a game breaker for me desu

Armor is still alright.
The weapons though is an issue but not as bad as you make it out to be.
The vast majority of weapons are "Bone or Iron weapon with a little bit of the monster on it" or an base weapon recolor. However, there are unique models at the end of the tree for most of the monsters at least.

So it's bland as fuck for 75% of the game. But there are unique weapon models at least.

It has unique armor per monster, but there's no distinction between gunner and blademaster. Instead it just applies a passive to your character either buffing physical or elemental defense depending on the weapon you currently have equipped. Each monster still has two armor variations at high rank though- one has more skills, the other has more slots for jewels. Weapons don't look quite as varied unfortunately, but most monsters still have a weapon for most types so in terms of gameplay it's no different.

How do I enjoy using the gunlance?
After using Lance for so long, the seeming lack of mobility is killing me.

I have pretty much clearly and concisely narrowed down everything wrong with Monster Hunter World and conversely, the new Iceborne expansion.
