I made Spider-Man's homemade suit costume from Homecoming for Halloween last year, if that counts (it's unlockable in the PS4 game).

I went as a "Fallen Survivor" type zombie for Halloween when I was in High School. Only a few of my pals that played Left 4 Dead 2 realized what I was.
I still have the medkit my sister helped me make.

Quite a few times.
My wife is a pretty good seamstress and does a lot of craft projects, so she loves making costumes for us, usually comic book related but sometimes video game stuff. IE: we did XCOM: EU costumes that turned out pretty dang good.
So we go to a con or two every year to hang out with friends and do cosplay stuff.
