September or something. It' honestly doesn't seem that interesting, just three missions crammed into one, but I have been hankering for longer missions. Maybe it's because I played a lot of Killing Floor, but all the missions feel super short. Half of the point extractions you can beat in 8 minutes with four people.

I don't know man, that game just does NOT scratch the itch I was hoping it would. Just something about cave exploration in minecraft is so much more fun. Maybe its because you never know what you're going to find, sometimes its nothing, sometimes you come across a huge chasm with waterfalls/lava falls, if you're lucky and go deep enough you find diamonds and other rare ores. DRG the caves look kinda bland most of the time, never really found an "awe" moment by coming across a cool looking area, how deep you go has nothing to do with the rarity or quality of the resources and like I said, only 2 minerals per dig is fucking boring as shit.

I'm tired of monopoly minerals like Morkite and Dystrum I hate these useless resources

Seems like your entire experience was ruined by your false impression. It's a team-based horde shooter like Killing Floor or Left 4 Dead, Instead of going from safehouse to safehouse, your goal is to collect things from randomly generated caves with fully destructible scenery. The primary game loop isn't mining, it's killing bugs.

I wish they would add some more focus on the mining aspect. It's one of the games most interesting features but I feel like the devs put all their time into improving the team-based combat.

This is a game about manly dwarves mining manly gold. Do you really want femdwarves?

If you don't enjoy the core gameplay, why would you hold your breath for endgame content? At least grind doing something you love.

I had fun with this game for a short time but after getting the new equipment for Engineer it felt pointless to keep playing with randos.

I play mostly for the cooperative combat. mining is kinda like therapy after a crazy wave

How difficult would it be to implement fluids in the game? I think having water, lava, radioactive waste, etc would add a lot to the cave features. But I can see implementing them in the physics to be a nightmare.

Could be a cool way to have larger teams. As this guy says point extraction covers it pretty well for four dorfs, but with 8-16 you've got risk/reward decisions about going out to grab stuff vs. staying home, which dwarfs go on which entrances (e.g. drillers & engineer guns on entrances getting swarmed, gunners & M1000 scouts onto entrances with dreadnoughts coming), and all sorts of good shit.

Molly is all dwarf need.

I'd prefer new classes. Problem with alternate equipment is you often end up classes which play vastly differently depending on what they're using, and that makes judging teams difficult. Like, if I see a gunner, engineer and driller on a team I'm joining then I go scout, but if I don't know how those guys are specced then that decision isn't as straightforward. Whereas a new class is at least easier to judge at a glance when putting together/joining a team.

I feel like the main 4 already cover all the major needs for the game. And it makes sense to have only 4 classes in 4-player co-op.

I feel the same way, but I'm told it's good for support if you get the AoE shock. I've never once been glad I brought it over the shottie though.

Point Extractions feel like they have a god damn time limit before it begins spawning so many shit at once that you can't handle it.

femdwarfs are something blatantly in the "to do" list just to premptively get retards off their back if the game gets an unexpected burst of popularity.
I seriously doubt they'll ever put them in if the game stays at the level it's at.

Driller already fulfills the close range specialist role.The 4 classes we have are already so well-rounded that anything new would just feel redundant.
I'm at least hoping for new weapons because having a choice of three for each slot sounds like a good number to have.

Yes, one more new primary and secondary for each class sounds perfect. Maybe if the devs push it really hard we could have more than one utility item for each class too. As far as the movement items go you can't do anything with those, they're perfect as they are.

Melee bruiser won't work in DRG. Everyone would simply blast bugs from the distance leaving him useless, not to mention the friendly fire.

Yeah I didn't think of that. Plus the game itself with all 4 classes shows that while you can melee, you'd have to be desperate to rely on it.
