CS-GO feels unplayable because it went f2p

Seems like most shooters have low pop servers and really autistic gatekeeping communities. I also don't want some shitty battle royale filled with kids and no social aspect, I just want the similar vibe that older console shooters had with bunch of people just shooting shit and not taking it too seriously.

TF2 is still pretty good, but it depends on your taste if you like it.
Overwatch is definitely shit. Unless you enjoy shooting at shields for 90% of your gametime avoid that game like the plague.
Squad is just pure autism. But if you're into that, try it out.
I wish i could recommend Red Orchestra 2, as i honestly believe it's one of the most fun FPS games on the market, but it's pretty much dead. And the only servers still up are heavily moderated by furfags and homosexuals. And servers with 400 ping in japan.
Rising Storm 2 is inferior in every way and it's also moderated by virgins. So yeah. I guess if you never use chat maybe you could enjoy it. Oh and also make sure your name doesn't have any german words in it or you might get banned (seen this happen several times)
What else.... Battlefield 5 is a complete and total mess. Runs like shit and has no maps.
So, yeah that's about it. FPS games are honestly at their lowest point right now. Very alarming situation. Our best hope is the new COD being good, and judging by the gameplay footage it might actually deliver. Fingers crossed, but i'm actually looking forward to it.

I have 800 hours on siege and it would've been worth picking up 3 years ago
unfortunately starting with operation white noise, or maybe even a bit before then, all of the new operators added to the game are basically superheroes instead of counter terror units
the game also absorbed a good amount of the CSGO mass which means children and non English speakers aren't uncommon

I almost can't believe none of you fags haven't mentioned one of the best shooters in years. Titanfall 2 is a wonderfull mix of arena shooter movement and giant robot fights. I can still find matches but the player count is definitely on the way down. It doesn't seem to be on Yea Forumss radar, so there's another testament to its quality
