Is THE release only in US and Japan? Cant find it in EU?

From what I checked it's in all of the other Eshops as well. For some reason the deluxe package only appears only when using the console eshop. The whole eshop experience is a little bit messy in my opinion.

I don't think we can say for sure until we get the game in our hands. You can wait a little bit to see what people say, but I doubt anything is changed. The fanservice is not any more lewd than what you see in Senran Kagura. I would say that SK is actually more lewd with its interactive lockerroom stuff.

It was not banned by neither ESRB nor PEGI, only in a couple countries and only from being sold physically. It was Sony who then stepped in and banned it from release entirely since they started to crack down on anime fanservice. A digital release on Switch would incur in no issues.

Compile Heart rereleased Moero Chronicles on the Switch some time ago and that game is probably just as lewd as OLZ, if not worse. I don't think Australia said anything in regards to Omega Labyrinth Z, it was the UK and Germany IIRC. Either way, even if digital sales were banned, you could bypass it simply by accessing another region's digital store and buy it from there.

The first one on Vita has a full English patch.

Nintendo recently stated they won't censor games (and you can tell since pic related was originally a Vita exclusive in Japan but the current rerelease could not be put on PS4 while the Switch version was even localized) so it's really up to the publisher. There are already games on Nintendo systems that got banned in certain countries, like Gal*Gun 2.

Gal gun 2 was end of an era. I think that was the last game on ps platforms that actually had touching minigames. Next week sales thread will be interesting, omega labyrinths have sold about 30k/title, z a little less. If they can achieve that with the switch version the future looks decent with these games. But maybe combined 30k would be good enough as well. Personally I think it'll sell about 20k on switch, 5k on ps4. But maybe I'm a bit too optimistic about it and this is the last omega labyrinth.

The games play very differently. LoR is a first person dungeon crawler and OLL is a roguelite mystery dungeon. Games like LoR and Etrian Oddyssey can be very tedious for people who lack patience, while mystery dungeons are usually pretty comfy.

As someone who has followed this stuff for a while, it's funny to think that Sony is stricter than German rating board these days. Oh, how times have changed.

With Z I had surprisingly many posts about the things that happened in the dungeons, weird things can happen in these kind of games. My favorite is still when I used a spellbook that removed the walls and then used ability to destroy everything in the same room. But when you remove the walls it's just a big room. So of course I hit the shopkeeper. Good thing she was pretty far away and I was near the stairs.

But yeah, the garden aspect will be interesting as well, I'm still not quite sure if the items you place in there actually have any effect or are they just for cosmetics.

I'm still getting through the first dialogue bit. You get dropped right into the tutorial dungeon before anything (Hinata steps through the gates and gets sent to a distorted space(dungeon). I think I need to pass the tutorial before I can get to the garden.

For menu guy Here's the dungeon menu you have 30 slots in your bag as is normal but you have a seperate slot for garden related goods of 104 slots. I suspect you'll find lots of seed and garden related items in the dungeon.

Ok, here's an update(no photo cause fuck that noise) The ring menu is hidden the whole time because there's two you can deal with, you have you're normal Ring Menu and the new Party Switch Ring Menu which you'll use to switch between leader and partner while exploring the dungeon. The Ring Menu's DO remember what you last had selected before it hid itself.

You start from level 1, floor 1. The number of floors is dependant on how the game wants it to be, it probably starts first with dungeons that are just under 10 floors or something. In the post game there's probably one with 99 floors. Each floor the enemies grow stronger.

You get levels by defeating enemies, which you can attack with your equipped weapon, reading a spell from spellbook or just throwing any item you've happened to gather in the dungeon. The battles itself are turn based, you attack, they do whatever they want to, usually attack back. Pretty basic stuff. Upgrading your weapon is also pretty basic stuff, the fairy you are accompanied with will do it for a price.

In this game, the payment for just about everything is Omega Power. You gather omega power by defeating the enemies. Omega power is stored in the characters breast, thus making them bigger over time when you gather more and more OP.

Along the way in these dungeons you get items that you don't recognize. These have to be appraised. In this game, the appraisal is done by spending some OP, and then putting it between the characters breasts and moving them. The end result is better the bigger the breasts are.

The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but it can be addicting when you constantly get new loot, new enemies to defeat and new maps to fill. However, you're restricted to 30 items so you have to at some point start thinking what is important and what isn't. Dealing with that is also important part of these games.

These games aren't the most difficult of the genre but they are solid games in my opinion, good for beginners. If you want riskfree tryout of the genre, you should think about emulating some titles like shiren or mystery dungeon games for older systems. Each one have their different quirks but in the end the do play similar way.

Well, there was one post game dungeon in Z that you started as Z size and the enemies didn't give you omega power, so you had to make that last the whole dungeon. With Z size there was a special skill that you could use which was pretty powerful. Also the skills you had were also replenished by every cup size you achieved. So it was kinda that? I don't remember if it had those enemies that suck the tits size out of you as well, probably did.

See . It's not your typical JRPG. Something that I actually forgot is that these games also have a hunger mechanic, so if you're with empty stomach you will lose health. And if you're well fed you gain health. It usually isn't a problem if you're managing yourself properly, but it will become a pain in the ass once all your food is spoiled because you met an enemy that spoils your stuff. Or you got burned and it burned all your food as well. You can eat that stuff but gives you poisoning. So yeah, all sorts of things.

To me, the tits are the main dish and the story/gameplay are the icing.

That was the case for me at first as well but I got hooked on the gameplay in the end.

Life is the third game. Z was the second. It was scheduled for a western release and even rated by ESRB but as it was about to go out the door sony blocked it. Which is BS.

I Just don't get how Sony can legally just block the game entirely outright. Like okay if they just said "You can't sell it on our digital store" that would be their prerogative, be like that time Walmart refused to stock GTA, they're free to not get the sales if they want. I'd heard it was because of the especially young looking character pictured last here Life has no such character from what I've seen. None of the characters ages are stated, the level of education is probably also ambiguous if they're high-school or college/university aged, but my guess would be "legal age".

Likely for a long time. Back in the PSP days they'd refuse VNs from getting licensed outside of Japan, and early on in the PSP days they'd also refuse to let a game be JP audio only but loosened up on that later in its life.
In the PS1 days they were very against licensing any 2D games to the west too though some did make it over.
I think the Nisa stuff was them preemptively censoring stuff to try and not stir the pot with Sony even though they knew they could make it past ESRB.
