I'm an idort with the 3 major controllers (Xbone, DS4, Switch Pro Controller) and in my opinion the Xbone controller is the best. Right weight, buttons feel good, sticks feel durable.

It's consumer rights and consumers ARE entitled. When you make a purchase, the supplier and manufacturer are agreeing by implied contract that you are entitled to a working product that functions as advertised.
I know US law on consumer rights has been lackluster compared to the EU or UK for example.
If you sell a product and it breaks withing a fair warranty period of 1 or 2 years then the consumer is indeed entitled to have it repaired or replaced. They gave you money in exchange for something that should function correctly for a reasonable period of time based on normal intended use. This applies regardless of it being a video game accessory, an appliance, a tool etc.

I think if you pay $300 for a controller, it's reasonable to expect it to work without issues and last for a long time.
The kind of issue described in OP would be acceptable and to be expected in case of some chinese knockoff for $20 or something, and not a $300 product.

The Vita had this and sadly nobody ever made use of this feature aside from a couple of first party tech demos masquaraded as full games, and it was all too clear they only implemeted it because they got an order from high up to show off as many Vita features as they can, but no real thought put into it.

These are good but the buttons stick and the joystick doesnt have as good range of motion as the ps4 xbone controllers.

I had one of those, broke after just about a year of use with most of the buttons becoming unresponsive. I went back to my damn Nyko USB controller which I had been using for almost 15 years, and it still works fine to this day.

I had it replaced 4 times before I finally gave up. Either one of the RB/LB buttons or the triggers just stopped working after a couple of months. It was a known issue, Razer didn't give a fuck, just replaced it only for the same thing to happen again.
Never buying anything ever from them again.

Fuck I'm still mad because otherwise I really liked the added extra buttons so I could bypass having to press L3 or R3.

Best controller is the ps3 one. But for pc just use the 360 controller its cheap and convenient. Also the ps4 controller actually seems better designed for pc that middle thing can be used as a touchpad.

As a playstation owner, I get real sick of others saying this controller is perfect. It's almost like you retards want them not to improve. I also bought an Xbox Elite Controller for my PC and it's fucking amazing.

Nah there's just not a huge amount of interest in VR currently. Milking the few people who have interest in VR for all their money is probably a good idea to keep the revenue stream going until more people become interested.

Price doesn't matter, right now VR is just not something that people want. Nobody cares for how little your sell your shit. You also have to remember that these companies invested a lot of money into developing this technology, they can't just "operate a minimum profit" currently.

I just like the DS4 looks and button placement, I don't really mind the bloat even if I don't use them.
It's more important to me that I can just use it with my PC and PS4 without any issues whatsoever.
For me, it's pretty much perfect. I wish the material they use to make the sticks were more durable, but oh well.
