Mecha sonic when he beat all of them was hyped up with chaos crystals. And Mario mainly used his superior speed to beat Bowser which is something that mecha sonic didn’t seem too keen on, he usually would just resort to overpowering his opponents and beating them down once they are stunned. Bowser was having none of that and could just shrug off all his hits, not to mention he was pissed off because he just beat up his son

It was a magical time when this was being released. It would make my entire week when I would come home and new episode was up. God I loved this series. The creator actually has an amazing talent for directing sprite fights, but alas he does nothing with it these days.

Mecha Sonic faces the three of them, and Yoshi, in the minus world, and does not lose the battle - it's basically a draw. Mario's hammer has broken over Mecha Sonic. When facing Sonic, he keeps pace, or out-speeds him (such as when he charges Ancient Light faster).
He hits both harder and significantly faster than Mario, on top of his durability being at least on par with Bowser. He also has similar, if not greater, combat experience.

It's not just the battle animations, he is also able to produce actual funny shit. Like in the reboot when Wario uses the assist throphy to make Waluigi appear on the battlefield, shit was legit comedy gold.

Yeah, that one, too. The reboot was such a huge improvement from the original that I will forever be sad that there won't even be a SECOND episode of the reboot.
