because it already went through for kids and for kids who grew up with the show, they had to cycle back to kids since everyone who grew watching the show stopped watching cartoons on tv period.

Character action hack and slash. Mission-based with pseudo-open world a la Spiderman 2 / Destroy All Humans level freedom to roam within the distinct area the mission envelopes.
Platforming is meaningful when implemented.
Full moveset of each character unlocked from the very beginning, like a fighting game. There are no upgrades---git gud.
That about covers the bare minimum to make such a game great.
