I never understood devjam events, they really don't help you. I used to do these things for apps/software with school friends but you were working too quickly to actually learn anything from it and the end product was always so bad that it needed scrapping and redoing.

I enjoyed the video a lot. jons team felt really chill because of the two professionals and Jon's video work. gumdrops contrasted with their slow descent into frustration. Zach made me laugh.

I've never been to a game jam before, are the products always 3D unity games? When Jon's team was brainstorming their game I was imagining a really fun, top-down 2D pixel game where a really bouncy character shoots off a bazooka whenever they slam into a wall.
