I hate characters like him, they're horrible. They only exist because the authors to lazy to make characters actually have conflict between each other so they just make someone like him who forces conflict while having plot armor until the near the end.
He should have died in the first vote, killing off Kai was insanely stupid and no one gives a fuck about it the whole time while they just groan about Joe while getting everything they need from shit Kai left behind.

Kai admitted to work for the kidnappers, between the guy responsible to them taking part in the death game and a looney with a beanie the choice is pretty easy to make imo

used the url bar to write down the moves 45682 respectively left body right up and down

Sou dying in every single iteration of the killing game means that chosing to kill Sou at the end of CH2 almost definitely plays into The Plan, whatever it might be, set up by the mastermind(s) as it is one constant, expected turn of events. Him surviving throws wrench into that outcome and might very well be a requirement for an ending where you beat the killing game rather than just finishing it.

Killing Kanna makes Sou fucking mind break Sara, and she will probably become even more twisted when Sou does more madman shit and starts killing people which will just end up making Sara a good host. Letting Kanna survive makes Sou fill her full of hope, so she won't be the host.
Killing Alice / Kana made my give up on caring about these characters when they will just arbitrarily die. Its hard to get invested when they just kill off people for zero reason.

Once again, not a single AI simulation predicts Sou actually surviving the killing game, so him living through it can only be seen as going against the game's intent. That being said, if Sou actually dies on his route in CH3 or if as another user mentioned, he was simply lied to about the meaning of percentages, then I'll concede my point and agree that keeping Kanna alive is a far better outcome.

Everyone but Nao and Sara die, Nao holds Sara and tells her its alright, its not her fault and that the two of them will spend the rest of their lives together where Nao will take care of her and pamper her.

It's easy with Reko. Don't even pay attention past the first few moves. Also the very last round is just direction body direction body direction body and so on so you just need to know a couple directions.

If these games are all being ran over and over and over again with AIs, why would they randomly give Sou the percentage numbers in the live version of the death game? They obviously know he will do his mad man shit like he has done because their counting on it. Killing Kanna is what a leader of this death game would do because they'd be keeping the useful asset and kill the one who has no value. It will also be "ironic" because even if you save Sou in the second game then he will still end up dying from madman shit or something. Sou probably does know about the plan of the hosts which is why he ran while dying to fill Sara with hope, which will fuck over their plans. Killing Kanna will be the bad route where Sara is the next host of the death game and Killing Sou will be the good ending where she rejects it and it ends with hope meme trust shit like danganronpa.
