They're fun but if you want more styles there's going to be some grind (Because each style takes like 2000 EXP per level which increases to around 6000 near the end while most styles have 5/10 levels and fights only give you around 200 EXP at most). Bosses are a bunch of fun, the few gauntlets they had (2 had more) were pretty fun to fight through (Especially near the end of BP2), and the music in general is great.
100% is not worth it though, the grind is unreal be it from part-time jobs requiring 25+ close to perfect runs for each game, multiplayer mode grinding (In BP1 you have to have another person to help you as well because doing the challenge fights is ridiculously difficult on your own and not balanced for that), or money grinding in the billions of yen when earning 100 million is like pulling teeth and requires savestates or hours of life thrown down the drain.

This just means you need to go buy cologne or one of the two hostess rings and equip them (I think one was from the substory). If I remember right Don Quijote carries the cologne along with Le Marche, I think Ebisu has one of the rings while the other one is from a substory. Actual clothes changing is Premium Adventure only, they don't let you do it during the main story outside of Black Panther 2.

Kenzan had a completely different setting on a new console.
Yakuza 3 added incompetent writing and Okinawa.
Yakuza 4 added three new characters.
Dead Souls was a different genre and changed the setting.
Yakuza 5 added a new graphics engine, three new cities and a new character.
Ishin added multiple styles.
Yakuza 0 added a new character.
Yakuza 6 was on a new engine on a new console and added Onomichi.
Judgment has a new protagonist and fighting styles.

This is GOTY just from the sheer fact that it has Anri Okita as a camgirl

How good is 5? Or is it just more of the same as 4? Bout to finish 4 then jump into 5.

New towns, new minigames, Shinada's new and great, every character has a major minigame and they're all good (Though Haruka's is repetitive so it's not as good), the boss fights are pretty good, and everyone's movesets feel snappier in general.
Only real dumb parts are the ending, the framerate dips at certain parts but it's mostly stable, the encounter rate is a bit too high for Tsukimino but okay everywhere else, Saejima's part is kind of retreading 4's steps, Shinada is shoved into the story more than anything, and Haruka's jobs are so repetitive.

It's basically a step up on 4 except for the story which really blunders right at the end. Seriously though, Shinada is a great new character even if he's pretty separated from everything.
