Blaster Master/Inticreates Thread

Gunvolt is essentially as easy or as hard as you want it to be.
By default you have an ability that allows you to avoid damage as long as you still have energy (and in GV2, for Copen, bullets).
But you can turn it off, and swap it for equipment that instead gives you other advantages.
In fact, to get the best scores you WANT to use better shit, and you WANT not to get hit.
And better scores equates to more and better materials, that you use to make shit, etc.

Basically you can "beat" the game by abusing the invincibility mechanic, but it's like easy mode.
If you want to get gud and get good ranks you gotta swap that shit off.

In normal mode yes, fully powered gun is ridiculously OP. In hard mode each enemy is vulnerable to a diffrent gun and the peashooter hurts everything.

The PS version is really fucking generic, but started the trend of mixing the WoP novel into Meta Fight's canon and it all seems ridiculous if you only know the american NES story. Sort of has a MML feel to it due to Elfie and Roddy's shitck but without any of the fun

The difficulty of Gunvolt is in aiming for high scores, but if you're just playing through the game it tends to be easy. It's usually only at certain moments like a true final boss battle or some special stages that gameplay shifts to really trying to kill you rather than just ruin your score.
