Picked up anything cool lately?

I got MHGU for 30€ (there's a 50% EU sale)
Imported my 3DS save and now i'm planning how i'll enter G rank and slowly put together my G rank set + weapon.

Hope there's enough people online for me to get started, i'm gonna do the first Urgent to get into G later tonight.

Attached: 235.jpg (1600x900, 444K)

Rocket League mostly and occasionally Ace Attorney Trilogy. Haven't picked anything up lately as I can barely afford food atm

Xenoblade 2, I'm having a blast.I have quite the backlog as i only got a switch recently
Honestly, the switch is maximum comfy.

>Picked up anything cool lately?
Just Three Houses and new Picross. Having fun with both.

Oh you know what I'm playing

Attached: 20190630_205124.jpg (1440x1433, 1.41M)

Did they patch it?

Does it still run and look like hot garbage?

The objectively worst port of Bloodstained?
Why would you deliberately torture yourself like this?

It runs very good

As for a patch, idk

I just like playing games and having fun, maybe it's me not giving a fuck about specs and shit

Attached: 1564271662169.png (272x221, 74K)

Read , I didn't see there

I want to play FE but wage slaving makes me too tired for any sort of rpg.

Yeah ok so it's still an unplayable mess.
Hard pass.
It's not even the best metroidvania on the system anyway.

I picked up FE but haven't started it yet (story of my life). Also recently got Steins;Gate Elite on my birthday and it's nice.

fuck nintendo

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 163K)

>Got Captain Toad for £7.50 and Donkey Kong TF for £10.50 at Tesco today because they were clearing stock

Feels good man. Worth checking your local Tesco Extra if you want 'em.

I would be playing FE if amazon felt like delivering my preorder. Until then I'm emulating Path of Radiance

Attached: 1542552798138.png (362x380, 64K)

>not even the best metroidvania
elaborate
pls don't say axiom verge

Why is it unplayable??

Can you explain that to me??

Xenoblade 2
Getting kind of annoyed with it though as I'm stuck on the Chapter 9 Jin fight. He's annoying as fuck because half my attacks are missing. My guys are like Level 65 for fuck's sake and I can only get him down to 1/3 of his health before he wipes me.
I love the game but apparently I'm complete dogshit at it.

Imported Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna. I accept that most people don't like their games but I can't help but enjoy Tokyo RPG Factory games. Really looking forward to Oni no Naku Kuni after the demo. Other than that I've played a little Guilty Gear and Fallen Legion

Axiom Verge isn't a metroidvania, it's a metroid clone.

Try experimenting with different party members and blades until you find a strat that works. I HIGHLY recommend having Nia in your team for this fight because YOUR GONNA NEED THOSE HEALS.

Has anyone here played the Bayonetta games, Cadence of Hyrule, Three Houses?
Are they worth your time and money/fun?

Attached: 657819_front-1.jpg (640x1050, 452K)

Bayonetta is 100% worth it and amazing

Both Bayo games are fucking amazing.

wait for a sale on Cadence of Hyrule. It's pretty good, but unlike necrodancer there's not that much replayability. Once you finish it (it takes around 6h or less) there's not a lot else to do.

aw yis

Attached: 38172173.jpg (409x545, 66K)

runs fantastically well and a pretty damn good action game

You are at the very end of the game so don't be too hard on yourself. As the other user said, experiment. I did him with Rex + Nia, Tora, Morag.

anyone feeling buyer's remorse about three houses at all?
haven't gotten it yet but i'm debating. it's a long way till link's awakening and i need something to do on my switch

>DOOM is STILL broken on Switch even after logic patch

for fucks sake

Bought pic related during the E3 sale, saving it for when things calm down a bit. Haven't played a lot of Switch recently (been finishing Persona), but I'm planning to pick up Three Houses and Astral Chain in the next month.
Other than that I've been playing some BotW from time to time, finally found where the Master Sword is and I imagine I'll work on those trials later.

Attached: image.jpg (240x240, 25K)

I was planning on getting it a bit later, what's wrong witrh it?

No, I'm too broke to buy any new games.

Switch Lite preorders went up.

I just got my Switch last month with Xenoblade 2, I almost finish it and I'm wondering what to get next, Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild?

Just Beat Dark Arisen, right now trying to unlock N. Tropy in CTR

Starting up Dragon Quest Builders 1

Excited!

I just beated Dark Souls, I'm still deciding if I'll start Bloodstained or FE

Bayo 1 is GOAT for me, Bayo 2 is also awesome but I didn't like it as much. Both games are definitely worth a buy if you enjoy action games of any sort.

Picked up Ys 8 again even though I’ve already played it on Vita and PS4. Still fucking sucks that it’s only 30fps.

i don't know, i'm asking. would like to know if it's worth the time and money

What's a comfy game like Star Dew or Harvest Moon.

Same here

I've beat BotW and played some of Odyssey, and between the two I would say MO is the more varied experience overall, but that's not to diminish BotW as a really nice adventure.

might just get doom 3
dno

i've not got a new game on switch since the zelda muoso.

are there any warhammer games on switch? hoes mad

Attached: this is how i wanna die.webm (684x854, 1.65M)

Going through pokemon let's go again until pokemon sword and shield comes out. Need to get back into playing Xenoblade 2 and octopath traveller but ive been neglecting my switch for my pc.

Put about 30 hours so far taking my time doing all the extra slice of life stuff it offers.
It's pretty comfy so far, but the story just took a nosedive. Definitely worth the money I think. One of the easier FEs, hard/classic is still quite the joke most maps, although some of the paralogues and monster maps can be pretty challenging if you want to save greens for extra rewards. Almost want to drop down to normal to be able to grind maps for money (limited on hard) so I can spam gifts to students and recruit them. But you can only lower difficulties, can't raise them up.

>Donut County
>Creature in the Well
>The Sword of Ditto

Are any of these games worth picking up?

Attached: 1563054040457.jpg (417x600, 80K)

lol, i feel you bro. keep at it

I've heard that Donut County is fun, but I haven't heard of the other two.

Sent my Left joycon in to get repaired, but forgot to get the tracking number. How long does it usually take for it to come back?

decided to replay botw in master mode. i basically had to relearn to play and its a whole new experience, i love it.

Oh thank God I just did it
Played as Zeke, but got Rex to turn Mythra into Pneuma then started a chain attack. And somehow all by herself Zenobia chunked a third off his goddamn health by herself. What an amazing blade.
This is why I play this game. It can be frustrating but not many other titles these days give me such satisfaction when overcoming hurdles.

bump warhamer

Going to play Captain Toad tomorrow. Looking forward to it

what house

Gosh DQB is such a lovely little game. Can't wait to see where it goes next.

Still playing DQ Builders 2 even though my copy of FE3H came in the mail.

I don't know what it is about Builders but it's like crack for me. I can't stop.

Got Flashback the other day for cheap, second hand, and I've been waiting for a special moment to dive into it. Anybody played it? How is it? I have barely heard about the original, mind you.

Attached: flashback-switch-14.jpg (1200x675, 87K)

Out of this World/Another World and Flashback are pretty cool cinematic platformers. Think like Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus, but slower. Maybe closer to the original Prince of Persia and maybe even SNES Nosferatu.

I played the original back when it came out on Sega Genesis. It's a nice kinda cinematic platformer, nothing too incredible, but worth playing. Great visual style. Just hop right into it and enjoy, don't look up too much beforehand.

Anyone else see Switch ending up as their favorite Nintendo system? There is so much great stuff on it already and we are only in year 3.

Mega picross

Attached: image.jpg (4032x3024, 2.04M)

I wish I wasn't so shit at Mega Picross

It would be hard for it to supplant the Game Boy as my favorite, but that's largely due to sentimental reasons. I realized that I'll have had my original GB for thirty years as of this year.

The Switch really is remarkable though, and has me playing more games because of how easy it is to pick up and play a few minutes here and there.

Finished Outlast.
I remember it being huge years ago but after beating it in the middle of the night in total darkness I can safely say it was just okay.

I remember a bunch of people saying about how it's one of the darkest horror game there is but not once did I scared. It was spooky and some jump scares made me jump but it wasn't nearly as dark as I thought it was going to be. The worst thing the game had to offer was like one 4 second scene of a guy fucking a dead body and that's really as edgy as it gets.

At first I thought maybe the internet was dehumanizing me but then I remember in Dead Space 2, a game people have long arguments ISN'T a horror game, has a scene where a crying mother is trying to care for her zombified infant son before both dying and I still can't watch that scene without making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Same with most of the monsters in Lisa and some of the sound design in Amnesia: Dark Descent.

So what the hell happened?

Attached: what the hell was that.jpg (640x400, 54K)

>I remember a bunch of people saying about how it's one of the darkest horror game there is but not once did I scared.
By dark they mean edgy. Though the game is pretty dark without your night-vision.

Got A Robot Named Fight when it was on sale for $2. Pretty good randomized Metroid game.

Attached: fight.jpg (1280x720, 203K)

just bought a switch with breath of the wild and monster hunter and soon fire emblem three houses
Any other recommendations?

Attached: 1564224723421.png (563x671, 477K)

But like I said, even in terms of edginess I've played edgier.

Like i said Dead Space was fucking edgier and that's a popular triple A game that people try to argue "isn't horror".

Are there even any good games on the Switch?

I'm curious what you guys think about MHGU?

Attached: 3max.jpg (497x817, 113K)

Been playing Let’s Go Pikachu, Donny Kong Tropical Freeze (FINALLY got past sea cove or whatever the level with all the under water areas), and I just purchased Cuphead.

You've got a few hundred hours of games right there, user. You'll be fine for at least two or three months unless you want same system multiplayer.

It's damn good and loads of content, but if you played MH4U then it wouldn't feel as difficult until you reach Deviants.

Bayonetta 1+2 combo worth? Half considering it.
Also wanna go back and actually beat mario+rabbids. I don’t think I gave it a fair swing. Also got skyrim on switch on a whim. I should probably do that too.

Playing monsterboy. Its fun, a solid 7/10 for me

Don't build a backlog, just play what you have and enjoy it. Backlogs kill happiness.

10/10, and still very active online.

Got Dragon quest builders 2, very comfy

Should I get switch lite?

Perfect, because I loved Abe's Oddysee when I was a lad. Never played Nosferatu but looks cool as fuck.

Will do my dude, had the Genesis at the time but too poor to experience the catalog. Got me into Toejam & Earl, though.

I find it easier than regular

Been playing a lot of Streets of Rogue and some motherfucking Doom.

This any good? It's on sale.

Attached: H2x1_NSwitch_YomawariTheLongNightCollection_image1600w.jpg (1600x800, 232K)

Bought FE: TH cause I was getting bored with my usual smash, kart, and Tetris rotation. Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the rpg things I can do and that’s ok with me

720p dynamic 30FPS with drops while every other version is 1080p - 4K 60FPS locked.
An undeniably drastic drop in appearance from its 3 port counterparts.

No, unless you're poor. But if you're poor you have bigger fish to fry.

it depends

You'll get it after your 500th try. These moons are as hard as the game gets imo.

>Bring my Switch to work
>Never have time to play it because women are incredibly stupid

Attached: 148.jpg (728x635, 45K)

I'm saving up to buy the voucher.

Problem is I don't know what combination to get:

Fire Emblem, Pokemon Shield, Astral Chain and Zelda BotW

the new MUA3 is very engaging and fun. Must play with friends tho

you are all autistic manchildren walking around outside with a device meant for children and a library 9/10 times comprised of ports

The voucher is a meme, you can get physical for the same price (dekudeals) and have the option to sell them when you're done. Definitely get BotW, maybe FE and AC, skip pokemon

You've got til tomorrow to grab one if you're in North America.

Attached: Screenshot_2019-07-30-14-38-44.jpg (2048x1536, 660K)

Not where I live.

Skipping Pokemon is not really an option for me, it's more like "do I pick Pokemon and something else and let the rest go, or do I buy two games now and Pokemon later down the line even though I absolutely do not have money for that".

Oh fuck.

Is it like that for elsewhere in the world as well?

I'll try this badboy out later

Everywhere else just says they don't have a specified end date.

Forgot my fucking pic

Attached: RF4 Translation.jpg (467x132, 7K)

Pokemon and BotW then

it's great. i have about 450 hours. still fun. many people playing it.

Played through X4 again, and I'm gonna play some more Taiko and Hyrule Warriors now. It's all good shit.
Is the first Devil May Cry easier than the third one? Thinking of maybe getting either that or Blazing Chrome.
Hell yeah Bayonetta is worth it; it's pretty much two games for the price of one, and if you're into playing for ranks/higher difficulties you'll get a tonne of playtime out of them. Though, go give Mario+Rabbids another shot first seeing as you already have it.
Is that the general concensus on it? Was thinking of playing it with my brother.
>RF4
Hell yeah man, that game rules, though I really need to play more of it.

Attached: 1563737663994.jpg (347x419, 64K)

sword of ditto is good if you have friends

about the MUA3... yep. At some points in the story mode, the difficulty gets very serious in normal mode. Gotta get some friends for the 4p team up. and try to get good with the sinchro moves

is this game better on pc? i know its a vn but still

>eng release
is this legit?

Kinda, some dude put the text from the 3DS in the Switch version, but because of that all the new lines in the remake are still Japanese.

Tropical Freeze is never ever on sale and I am not paying $60 for it. For a game that was so cheap on WiiU, this is absurd.

>friend offering $200 for my switch
Might do it. I've played all the big games and kinda feeling meh about everything upcoming, like maybe the best titles are already behind it, except maybe BotW2.

Nice, though I could probably only manage 3p at best but I can't imagine it being a huge problem.

If you really need the money go for it user, but dont forget to pick up the switch pro next year or in 2021 :-)

not at all. you'll be fine,

The money would go towards a building a gaming pc. I could afford to have both, but was raised to be frugal and psychologically can't handle having more than one Nice Expensive Thing(C).

dude, animal crossing

>super mario maker 2
it's the perfect comfy game. instead of browsing on my phone, i grab my switch and do a couple stages. it's really easy, stress-free, don't need to sit through cutscenes. and you feel great after beating a hard level

>smash bros
is fun too, just got it. so far my favorite fighter is Ike, since ALL his moves can smash opponents. The Hero announcement is awesome too. I don't think I would use him though, since he has that weird menu system. But what I'm finding interesting about Smash, is how each fighter has enough moves to star in their own metroidvania indie game.

i'm thinking about getting
>megaman x collection.
i really just want to play megaman zero since Zero uses a saber.
>Fire Emblem
I never played any though, so I'll wait.

and we just straight up need more games. I'm fuckin ready. Kirby, Wario, Breath of Fire, Capcom vs. Megaman Battle Network. Please! Bring on some old shit too, SNES/GBA

Attached: 1551571185606.gif (500x600, 124K)

Never played one. Seems less like a game and more like something to mindlessly do while listening to a podcast or something, but that's just my impression.

It's 30fps both docked and handheld?

I tried to buy Mario Maker 2 the last few days, but got no time because of work. Now im waiting untill the shops are open again

>Tesco
What is this and where can i find it?

You lucky bastards

i would like to play Splat 2 again after a longer period, but i wish i had someone to play with.

England my dude.

ahh, an islander

i liked it. worth the money imo

If you're okay with not playing future releases like Astral Chain, DQ XI S, BotW2, Bayonetta 3 for example then go ahead.
Also did you play Splatoon 2, BotW, F.E Three Houses, Bayo games?
Just asking.

I bought, played and finished the original doom for the first time and had a blast. Can't believe such an old game is still so fun, its magic.

Gonna finish marip odyssey and then my switch backlog is clear. Was probably thinking fire emblem or ff7 since I never played it either.

I have BotW, Smash, MHGU, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Mario Rabbids, Pokemon, Golf Story, Mario Maker 2, and about 15 digital games (indies, fighters, etc.). Skipped Splatoon, FE, and Bayos. Don't mind missing those upcoming games, some look good (Astral Chain, DxM) but not 10/10 good like the already released first party stuff.

Tfw car chargers cant charge the switch

I think I'm the only one kinda looking forward to this. It seems good

Attached: vampyr-nintendo-switch-feat.jpg (1124x625, 451K)

Just played FF7 for the first time when it launched on Switch. It was pretty fun.

dont tell me you idiiots use this dated tablet to play your graphic intensive games. holy shit.
ever heard of pc?

never, tell me about it :)

I still think about buying Odyssey or Mario Maker. Still cant decide

Holy shit, autismo. We get it. You get offended by which plastic game box others play.

Great game, I got it at my 14th birthday party and we all sat around taking turns in 1997

Finished one of the routes on FE yesterday. I should swing back to DQB2 because it was fun but I kinda wanna do more Splatoon too, the splatfest got me back into it as well

Its easy, do you prefer 3d platformers and exploration or linear levels and creativity

I'm probably going to get the lite switch for Toad and Mario U and to buy Doom for the fiftieth time

no, just the stupidity of others choice.

What did you think? Seems ok, but I'm holding out until I can pick it up used for cheap(er)

I like MM2 more, it's my nightly ritual to get in bed, put on a podcast, and play for 30 min or so. Odyssey was fantastic, but I only got about 12 hours of life out of it (no interest in the moon collectathon).

I had fun with it. The bits running around the monastery got kinda dull after a while but you can automate a lot of it once you get everyone on the path you want them to go on, and focus more on battles

Trying to 100% Yoshi's Crafted World now that I'm bored of BotW. After that I'm gonna play Tales of Vesperia and Rocket League until Links Awakening comes out.

Finished it a few days ago, actually decided to get the Torna DLC.
Addam is a complete chad and I enjoy him greatly, just a shame everyone dunks on Mythra so hard.

Dead Cells, still struggling to git gud and get to 3bc

Really hope they pull a Hyrule Warriors and bring this to Switch also.

Attached: SI_WiiU_YoshisWoollyWorld_image1600w.jpg (1600x800, 361K)

Emulate the original link's awakening so playing the new one will be cooler

i see, thank you both

Can someone please tell me if xc2 is worth it? I know ot has tropey anime shit but I dont care about that at all, the question is what is the biggest appeal of the game? Exploration, combat?

Preordered this shit, if Hori doesn't fuck it up with some weird bug (like the first edition of their joycon), it's gonna be great having an actual thic grip + thick sticks + dpad

Attached: 615C7Ou7gzL._AC_.jpg (1404x1476, 96K)

RATE MY SWITCH GAMES LADS:

Civ VI
Octopath Traveler
Cat Quest
Pokemon Let's Go
Darkest Dungeon
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Sonic Mania Plus

Also recommend me a game please.

holly shit, this looks massive.
i want one. How much does it cost?

Bros will they ever release civ 6 expansions for the switch

Decent
Golf Story

> Tubro button
Every third party controller had one, never understand what they doing

Nah, I've beaten the original. If I play it now I probably won't feel like doing it again in two months.

Just bought Resident Evil 4, never played it so I'm excited.

I only played it like 2 years ago, its fucking great

Does anyone know if the free Captain Toad deal is international or just nip only?

Why am I so bad at Dark Souls? I played it for the first time in 2013 on the PS3 and I remember spending 3 whole weeks in the first bonfire of Undead burg. I quit the game shortly after reaching the bonfire past the dragon on the bridge. I didn't play a souls game again for years until my baby brother begged me to buy DSII when the base game was on sale for 5 dollars on the 360 marketplace in 2016. For some reason that was the game that got me hooked. I've been playing Soulsborne games nonstop since then and have beaten all of the soulsborne games in the series solo and with friends multiple times. Except of course, for Dark Souls. I've tried over and over for years. I'll start a new game, kill the Asylum Demon, Tauros Demon, hydra in the lake, Havel the Rock, Capra Demon, Bell Gargoyles and the Moonlight Butterfly. These are the bosses I always kill in every new file and I ALWAYS hit a wall after this. I've got those guys down to a science but Sif has always slapped my shit. I've only killed him once or twice I think, and that was eons ago. I killed Stray Demon once, but now he again slaps my shit. I have never ever made a boss weapon ever, unless cutting off the tail of the dragon or gargoyles counts (it doesn't). Playing on Switch now, I'm level 36 right now and I'm using the full balder armor set, the balder side sword+9 & balder shield+5 and the havel ring and rusted iron ring. I've killed all of the bosses I always do but even after days of grinding my sword up and getting the full balder set Sif still effortlessly wrecks me. I'm in the slime hallway again trying to kill the slimey blobs for enough Large Titanite to get my sword to +10, but my confidence is zero. I'll never understand why this game is the only one in the genre that gives me trouble. I can beat Bloodborne, Sekiro, Nioh and although not related I can even decimate Ninja Gaiden Black. But this game has been taunting me since the day I discovered it.

Attached: 1563570186901.jpg (500x486, 23K)

Honestly, I enjoyed pretty much all of it.
Aside from the pokemon blades or the Merc shit I suppose.
Environments are great, soundtracks is fantastic, combat could be better, characters are wonderful and its all wrapped up in a nice little package.
Each of the unique blades have their own side-quests, very hit or miss with a lot of them though.

Is a complete package, genuine get that you can have a great time with.

currently playing 3houses, pre ordered luigi's mansion, astral chain and link's awakening, as soon as it is up for pre order I'll place one for rune factory 4 next, this year is going fucking great, a true nintendo reinassance

Attached: 1560887415438.jpg (736x1100, 715K)

Nip only for now

How tf you cant beat sif but you beat bloodborne is beyond me

I really want ds on my switch but fuck paying 35 pounds for it

three houses and bayo are definitely worth a buy

cadence only if you REALLY like zelda or if you REALLY like crypt of necrodancer

Elaborate

It is a great game. I'm super excited for RE5, if only for the god-tier Mercs mode.

Reminder that tomorrow is the last day to buy vouchers. They're good for up to a year, so I'd buy a pair and sit on them in case Nintendo adds something you're interested in or they add some kind of reward for keeping them in a year. I'm currently sitting on 3, 1 is going to Luigi's Mansion (already redeemed for Astral Chain) and I'm sitting on the other 2 for now

played it on PC, fairly mediocre game desu

Japan only, but someone commented at nintendolife that it's gonna be international starting on the 5th (take with a grain of salt)

It's not an equipment issue, just gotta learn the strategy to make it easy peasy (or at least easier). What I do:
>sif
stay under him, roll towards him when in the open
>stray demon
stay behind him, watch out for butt stomp and AOE attack
Works for me

I got the vouchers because I'm not poor, is Three Houses worth getting if I haven't played a Fire Emblem?

Absolutely looking forward to these monsters.

Sell it and buy the revision

Persona 5

Adventuring across a weird world full of weird people was the appeal for me. The combat is neat but it takes a while to pick up.

Buy the Asian editions of the X collections, as they’re physical and with no shit localization

When you put the Switch to sleep with Doom open and wake it up again, it freezes for 30 seconds before resuming and then the Bethesda account disconnect window keeps popping up.

I've been playing mario and rabbids its a lot more fun than a expected

>Currently have
BotW, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Warframe

>Want to get
Mario Maker, Bayo 1+2, Tropical Freeze, Crash Trilogy, CTRNF, Dark Souls, MHGU

What else is worth picking up? I'm fine with pretty much any genre and I'm guessing a lot of the indies are good.

Fire Emblem
Mario Maker 2
Baba is You
Smash now that Hero is out

My PS4 has been collecting dust lately, but at least that has some multiplats coming out in the end of the year I guess

>Golf Story

Looks good doggy, shame a physical copy is so pricey.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition
Dragon Quest Builders
DOOM

I preordered for 50 eurocucks on Amazon, so it's cheaper than the actual joycons or pro controller, that because they don't have a battery so you can only use them mounted (not an issue for me since their purpose is obviously pure handheld playing)

Astral Chain
Collection of Mana

my buddy let me have his switch since last week and I'm blasting through odyssey. I finished the story in like 2 days, what an amazing game I can't believe it. I never would have thought that I'd like this new concept so much. The post game is incredible too. I'm now 60 moons short of the final expansion.

I play 99% docked but would buy the shit out of this if I ever got into playing handheld. The switch, 3ds, vita, etc. are so uncomfortable.

>finished BOTW a few months ago
>no interest in returning to it but might try to do the sidequests
>finished Mario Odyssey includig Dark Side and Darker Side
>no will to return to it at all
>not interested in splatoons story mode or salmon runs
>stuck on stage in donkey kong
>no will to play DQ Builders since I lost my original save to using warranty on my switch due to screen issues
>can't buy mario maker because no job
true suffering

just hacked my switch. What game should I pirate?

Any issues with DMC on switch? Also how hard is it?

Sell mario and dq and either buy FE or a nice onahole

Go for a walk or bike ride around your neighborhood, then cook a decent dinner, watch a funny tv show you like, and go to bed early (no phone in bed)

I do want to return to DQ Builders, I just don't want to play the first chapter again. I'll probably give Mario Odyssey to my younger brother, I'll probably be buying him a Switch Lite for Christmas

>I do want to return to DQ Builders, I just don't want to play the first chapter again
You gotta replay it someday if you ever want to do that though right? Maybe try replaying it on the side to something else you're doing, take it a bit slow, and then eventually it'll be over with and you can get back to the good stuff.

Me wait for hero

I have one voucher left. Have most games and some other I don't care about. Is dragon quest 11s worth it? Haven't played yet but I could pirate on pc

God I impulse bought the redeem coupon things and I dont know what to use them on. I'll probably save one for pokemon because I'm weak, but the other I'm not sure. I kind of want 3 houses but I pirated awakening and I've never played fire emblem before so I figure I should beat that first. Any recommendations? I might also save it for astral chain

Astral Chain
Link's Awakening
Dragon Quest XI S
Luigi's Mansion 3

At least one of those is bound to be good

DQ 11 is in the voucher?

sure, i would use it on that but i want the box to put it in my dragon quest shelf

Says soon, yes. Boxes are ok for me but they are stored on a closet. After getting mm2 digital and not having to switch cartridges, I might go full digital from now on

Convince me not to trade in the following games:
>Dark Souls (Gonna play this on PC instead)
>Octopath Traveler (Boring, and this is coming from someone who can sit through slow NES Dragon Quest gameplay and Final Fantasy Legends III for Gameboy)
>ARMS (Gonna get it digital later to save physical space, it's pretty gud)
>Bayonetta 2 (Beat it but want to take a break before Bayo 3 comes out so it feels more fresh)
Planning on getting Dragon Quest XI and/or Astral Chain.

SMM2 is definitely a great game to have digitally

No, you've made good arguments for trading them in.

ok thanks user

I've paid off my Switch Lite and can get quite a bit cut off the price if I trade in my current Switch (I don't use the Switch in docked mode at all). This does have a hardware fault so I could use it for emulation and homebrew stuff but I could probably just emulate everything on my PC instead.

What do you guys think? Is having everything in one place worth it?

No desire to replay Bayo 2 after Bayo 3 or anything?

Nigga the revision has a higher battery life than the lite. you made a mistake

You are very welcome

The lite and revision both have the same processor revision for extended battery life

Never drop a physical game for digital

You could level up a bit more, but mostly you'll want to know when to dodge through with Sif, not away from Sif. It's very similar to fighting Gore Magala in Monster Hunter.

Lite is 3-7 hours. Revision is 4.5-9 hours.

Picked up Membrane for a dime still not sure on what physical copy game I should get next

What the other poster said, Lite and revision both have extended battery, it doesn't matter much if you don't want to plug on TV or aren't worried about drift.

That's odd, it's the same processor and battery. I wonder what the difference is.

What's a good switch game to play with the same feel and playstyle of Animal Crossing while I wait for A.C. to come out?

Perhaps it's because you can adjust the brightness? Just taking a guess.

i thought the lite had a smaller battery?

Stardew Valley maybe

I've tried to get into that game, but I just can't. I've had it on PC for years, but something about it bores the shit out me.

When does animal crossing release?

I absolutely hate the Loki character. He almost ruined the game for me but luckily the gameplay and Bayo herself are top tier. I want to play Bayo 3 with a fresh mind and I tried goig back to Bayo 1 and I couldn't, it's too old and slow. Bayo 3 will probably have superior combat or at the very least more polished if they follow the same pattern.

Emulate SNES harvest moon

Maybe you're right

March 2020

Fair enough then I guess, I know there's some bits of dialogue you can't skip but you can skip most of it, so it'd be less of an issue replaying it, but you know what you want I guess.

I'll look into that, thank you.

I'm about to get a Switch. Smash and an adapter to play with Gamecube controllers. Will I be able to use them for any other games or are they locked to smash?

Playing the first Dragon Quest Builders currently. Borrowed it from a friend and I can't put it down. Will probably buy the second for myself but I'm concerned about the performance issues. Also about to drop some funds on the Smash DLC. Joker's alright but Hero seems cool and I was almost certainly gonna get it anyway, so might as well get it now. Also Mario Maker.

>fucked up my right joycon trying to replace the case
>now have a jungle green left joycon and a neon green right one

when will animal crossing go on preorder? i want to use my other voucher on it.

>What are you guys playing?
Error code 2002-6001, it's wicked sick, makes it impossible to play other games for very long. Nintendo has no information about it too which is cool

FE is a garbage SRPG series, just go play OpenXCOM or JA2 on your computer for free or something. Astral Chain is dumb weebshit and Platinum are terrible at making games. Animal Crossing might be good so maybe that.

I haven't gotten anything in a bit. I have been looking at getting octopath and YS VIII. I have heard that YS VIII has some visual issues, how bad are they?

do they have english translation?

>2002-6001
I think that's a corrupted card mate, backup everything just in case and format before transferring it back.

I heard Ys VII visual glitches are minimal, people just didn't like the framedrops in tabletop mode.

Mainly going through Wizards Symphony still.
With some FE on the side.

I'm falling in love with these characters. My only gripe is I wish the story moved a little faster, but I guess thats just how fast I go through these dungeons.

>can't buy mario maker because no job

Well buy Fire Emblem, then. Problem solved bro.

Sounds like you're miserable.
Try to find a job and do other things besides play games.

What are some hidden gems you've found on the Switch?
Games you had no expectations for and thought they were going to be shit only to be wonderfully proven wrong?

Attached: StrayCatDoors-03.jpg (1280x720, 41K)

Stop fucking dying on me dammit!

I did the 4 beasts and got the master sword. I only have shrines and memories. I have given up on shrines because the ones I have left require motion controls. BBOTW is okay.

Is DQ2 like minecraft?

3 houses. Got it for $31 bucks. Feels good mane

ebay?

Not sure if they're still doing it but raise had a promo where you could get a $50 eshop card for $31 bucks. I had $10 in gold points already so I just added that to it and bought it

Three houses
Smash
Splatoon
Bomb chicken (current indie)
The evergreen power of this thing’s fucking library is impressive

Bayo 1 and 2 are some absolute top tier action game Kino
Three houses is good for a JRPG with good characters and good story, but difficulty is kind of lacking atm
Cadence of Hyrule is a pretty good indie rhythm game

Wait till lunatic difficulty gets added if you’re hesitant
I think the story and writing are worth the cost of admission alone but I’m a sucker for good medieval fantasy stories

It's less sandboxy and more linear/rpg oriented.

Baba is You
Take a break man, read a book or take up a hobby

That’s a solid list of arguments
I personally really like Octopath but that may just be my attachment to JRPG parties in general

Nah, glad I didn't wait. I prefer playing on the monitor, and if the analog sticks break your fucked.

I like Sky Rogues
It’s a super arcadey jet fighter game but the switxh comes with motion controls to emulate plane controls, so I got into it

Really excited for spyro remasters. I legit never thought it would come to switch but I love the idea of playing it on handheld. Pick it up day one on the ps4 and got 120% in five hours. That game is peak comfy.

Fairune Collection & Kamiko are two for me.

>and if the analog sticks break your fucked.
This is actually something I really like about it, I don't have to fear for my buttons playing rhythm games or mashing the attack key in shit like Mega Man.

Playing the shit out of Splatoon 2 grinding pures and trying to hit my X ranks. Slowing finishing botw and octopath traveler here and there and a bit of Tetris99 because the splat theme is fresh af

Any info on how useful online feature from astral chain and daemon x machina?
Thinking to hack my switch but if those two have at least as good online feature as soulsborne then I'm willing to hold the hack off.

>switch just turns off on its own a few days ago
>won't turn on
>every fix the website suggested doesn't work
I already got a repair set up, but is there a way to turn it back on that you guys know about?

Just waiting for the next Donkey Kong game. I get it. Metroid's the next project for Retro Studios. I can wait until after, like a decade or so.

redpill me on Kirby Star Allies

You can pirate single player shit and buy online games

A child could play it

It's been on sale for the past two weeks you brainlet.

walmart.com/ip/Donkey-Kong-Country-Tropical-Freeze-Nintendo-Nintendo-Switch-045496592660/676695112?u1=&oid=223073.1&wmlspartner=NSdbl*mPOl8&sourceid=31034394800202668173&affillinktype=10&veh=aff

17% off here.

I really wanted to like this game, but it was just too clunky and everything looks grainy

That isn't unplayable. It's the worst version but not unplayable. Learn what the word means.

im looking forward to spyro as well. i've had more fun in the last year with crash trilogy and ctr than any new game. old games were just better. and its not nostalgia goggles because i never played the original games.

That's awesome. I hope you enjoy them. They were my favorite as a kid since it was the first time I could move the camera with an analog stick.

Spyro 1 has an elegant simplicity to it. The game is so singular in its design that there aren't any pieces that detract from the whole experience. I strongly believe that it is a perfect game. 2 and 3 are great too but some of the minigames and bosses are less good.

Slowly going through ascension hell in Slay the Spire. On 11 with every character. Had a pretty good power build going with Defect but then Reptomancer sliced and diced my ass three rooms away from the final boss.

I also started playing around with my lewd collection of custom Smash stages. Most if them play like ass (pun intended) with a few notable exception.

Zenobia is fucking busted since she gets both a damage buff on bosses AND enemies higher level than you. By far the strongest Greataxe in the game at least until you can unlock T-elos post-game

Apparently Daemon X Machina will have online co-op and versus, but they haven't given any details about it, maybe you'll get to play the entire main campaign, maybe just select mission, maybe there's multiplayer-specific levels like Wonderful 101 and Xenoblade X did, who knows.

IIRC Astral Chain is listed as a 2 player game but I don't know if it has online multiplayer or just couch co-op

Pay 50% more than Planet Robobot for 50% less content and soul.

IIRC they work with most other games, but you're gonna be missing buttons for a lot of them. Perfect for Mario Kart though

mario fucking kart is fun if you're good at it

Recently finished Bloodstained. Bought Dragon Quest Builders 2 and been playing that a lot lately

Attached: 1564436413724.png (700x984, 552K)

Shitty castlevania clone?

Just got Kosmos on my brand new patched switch

>cosmic star heroin on sale
is the game any good, I remember looking forward to it back when it was announced

>First playthrough
>Only manage to finally roll KOS-MOS in post-game after days of grinding, about 200 hours in
>Second playthrough
>I've rolled every Rare Blades midway through Chapter 6, rolled KOS-MOS in Chapter 3 using the Legendary Cores from the DLC
Luck is a fickle mistress

I found the Whistleblower expansion much more edgier, I'd give that a go

How is the CFW scene by now? Has the SX on old switch made any significiant strides?

>tfw sent my switch in to get repaired today and wont see it for a couple weeks
>nintendo's customer service was actually really good

Attached: 1524603094197.jpg (750x750, 83K)

There's no reason to play it if you played 4u, honestly or to play 4u if you played generations. It's just the same old shit. 3u and world are the only different ones.

Should I buy Fitness Boxing?

I'm a monkey

We cannot ignore this....

So i just beat doggo, where should i got next? Blighttown or Valley of Drakes?

Kek. That's literally as far as I got on the PS3 (after completing Demon's Souls). I picked up DS on Switch when it was on sale and haven't even played through the prologue yet.

yes, but learn how to dodge offset and keep shooting enemies to maintain your combo when not attacking

>first playthrough, 180 hours in, no KOS MOS
>second plathrough, NG (not NG+), got it after 40 hours with common core

Because the game is boring and the movement is gluey. It's hard to care about the story when you aren't having fun. Meanwhile DS2 kicks ass with or without horror and Amnesia does what Outlast does but better

you can fuck a womens pussy though user. you can't fuck your switch.

Says you

>ISP doing nighttime maintenance
>cant play MM2
>cant get Hero
>cant play 3H because work later
AAAAAAAA

Playing Three Houses at the moment. Also beat Blazing Chrome.

Yes
Yes
And yes
Bayonetta 1+2 was basically everything I wanted though I’m happy as hell Bayonetta 2 took out instant death qtes

Candance of Hyrule is basically indie NES Zelda with a groove check can be sorta bullshit at times but it’s like 25$ So I’m a bit more forgiving

FE 3 houses is as good as the cover is stupid
So much better than I originally thought

2 weeks absolute max
Normally 3 days

When does Mario Odyssey get fun? I'm up to the Wooded Kingdom and it still feels too tutorialy.

Sand kingdom was fun. Wooded kingdom looks nice but i didn't like it that much. City kingdom, mushroom, sand are my favourite. It's actually my fav game along with zelda botw. ALso like splatoon 2, monhungenu, smash and mario kart a lot.

I would be playing Fire Emblem and chill with my Black Eagle buddies, but the game is literally sold out everywhere in my shit county and fuck digital

Attached: 1559829018331.png (544x572, 224K)

Trying to decide if i'll get a revised switch mid august, old switch so i can hack, or a switch lite. I want it for mobile only use, doubt i'd ever play it on my main screen.

I'm still not sure if switch lite has no rumble period, or no "hd rumble". If it's got no rumble period then i'm thinking probably revised switch cause runs cooler/better battery (albeit no hacking it anytime soon).

Just tried out the new smash update. Hero is fun but feels a bit awkward to control.

Getting paid this week and trying to decide what to pick up between DQ Builders 2, RF4 Special and FE3H. Want a mix of comfy and combat with lots of content. Any thoughts?

Attached: raven3.jpg (973x1600, 144K)

>It's actually my fav game along with zelda botw
Oh god I'm going to hate Odyssey

Why, you don't like botw? I like it less that most zelda games tbqh, except for 3ds ones like twilight princess, wind waker and maybe even ocarina of time. Odyssey is my fav 3d mario, i like it better than mario 64.

Of those four, ask yourself which one would you be okay with never being able to trade away or sell when you're bored of it.

If you like Fire Emblem in any capacity, 3H is pretty good. Three playthroughs worth of content with different stories, and better executed than Fates (I feel, anyway) and there's quite a bit to do. It's a beefy game, especially if you can snag it discounted.

wtb family sub

I don't know what to fucking get.
Mario Maker 2 looks fun but I can't into level creation.
Never played Fire Emblem before, but Three Houses seems pretty good with the amount of customization you can have on your units. Apparently there's red lines targeting your units now but I don't know if that's enough to help a brainlet like me who feels like would struggle with unit positioning

I really want a Switch, but that newer model is out soon. Should I wait or just buy it now?

>Switch Lite preorders are up and its still more than a month away
>but not the Switch 2.0
Fuck Nintendo

I'm firmly in the "BotW was a massive disappointment and brought nothing to the table that hadn't been done years before" camp. So I basically get called a butthurt snoyfag every time on Yea Forums.

i wish there was a port or a sequel to murasame demon blade.
can that game be emulated well by now?

you want older model so you can hack it for free games user. You need to hurry before they run out of the old models

There are no old models out there, the ones that exist are all second hand or ended up with scalpers that charge way too much for it.

All Nintendo consoles and handhelds get hacked eventually anyway.

how much do scalpers charge for the old models? asking for a friend

It did a lot of new stuff actually, plus it's a zelda game so it basically is a completely different remodelled zelda game. I just don't like most of new stuff that makes it non zelda for me

Three Houses is great so far (FemC design is stupid compared to the Male MC though)
Bayonetta 1&2 are both fucking fantastic games. bayo3 soon breh.
Havent played/bought Cadence yet cause I didn't care for Crypt. Cool concept though.

Get Bing Bing Wahooo Odyssey. A top tier 3D platformer.

My gay Switch is collecting dust at the moment.
I recently bought Mario Maker at full price and regretted it after 2 hours.
Literally the only game i'm looking forward to is Animal Crossing. Just fucking sucks that Nintendo games are so god damn expensive

Attached: chrome_2019-05-20_21-10-30.png (925x907, 1.44M)

Looking forward to more Dragon Quest Builders today

Not really played anything in a long, long time. I picked up the Zelda Warriors game whenever it was on sale a month ago, during the time Cadence released. I figured I'd pick up Zelda Necrodancer whenever it was on sale, and pick up Zelda Warriors when it was.

Are there any Warhammer games on Switch? XComs seem like they'd be the perfect game to play with a touchscreen.

Attached: 1563386704663.jpg (1080x600, 95K)

My joycons are drifting like crazy, it's impossible to play anything. Should I buy the pro controller or does it also have problems?

Been playing 3 houses and DQ builders 2. Both very fun. Also on and off of Immortal Redneck, but it'd be way better on PC, so waiting for it to go on sale. Suprisingly the gyro controls suck massive fucking dick despite gyro being great in splatoon and botw. I'm so fucking ready for Trials of Mana though holy shit.

Attached: 1560581187143.jpg (1036x1662, 202K)

This.

Valley of the Drakes is insanely short. Blighttown will make you angry, but you need to do it in order to advance.

>Dark Souls (Gonna play this on PC instead)
if you're a huge soulsfag having portable souls is really cool
>Octopath Traveler (Boring, and this is coming from someone who can sit through slow NES Dragon Quest gameplay and Final Fantasy Legends III for Gameboy)
it's also on PC so whatever
>ARMS (Gonna get it digital later to save physical space, it's pretty gud)
can't comment, never played it
>Bayonetta 2 (Beat it but want to take a break before Bayo 3 comes out so it feels more fresh)
portable Bayo 2 is great to have, such a great game to have on your pocket at all times with the sleep function

what do women being stupid have to do with finding time in your work to play Switch?

>Donkey Kong TF for £10.50

Attached: maxresdefault[1].jpg (1280x720, 250K)

Switched my old Sandisk Extreme 200 GB sd-card for a 512 GB one with faster writes, feels good man.

Now time to load up those .nsps

Playing Zelda and FE:TH right now.
Only two games I got so far.

I bought Hyrule Warriors at Gamestop but they sold me an empty case, and when I got back, said that the inventory checks out and there's no surplus game, so there's nothing they can do. I deserve it for not checking the case before leaving.
Now it looks like I took the game out and went back. Support said the same. Fuck Gamestop and fuck me.

Anyway, probably gonna get Mario Odyssey/Kart or Tennis next. Those & Smash are the only games I want for the Switch for the time being, until Luigi's Mansion 3 that is.

Attached: vlcsnap-2019-04-17-00h13m59s901.png (1920x1016, 1.7M)

This is Yea Forums. Here people complain about games instead of playing them.

>I'm firmly in the "BotW was a massive disappointment and brought nothing to the table that hadn't been done years before" camp.
Sounds like a camp that doesn't really exist if you know even a single fucking thing about game design.

Is it possible to transfer your games from one SD card to another? I was thinking of upgrading but I don't want to have to swap cards

>That isn't unplayable
It literally is though.
The only way it is playable is if you didnt know how butchered it is. No sane person would call this playable.

Since you're an idiot you equate digestible with playable. Of course you could sit through it, but no one with even 1 braincell would do it. You're only hurting yourself and the industry.

Its unplayble.

Yeah, copy the nintendo folder the games are stored there.

i used to bring my 3DS to work and play kid icarus during break .

>can't buy mario maker because no job
Find a job . They make applications everyday user
