Y tho? Single player campaigns are the best dlc there is and arguably the only good kind as they resemble the expansion packs of old. In many cases the most creative content is delivered as a dlc campaign. The devs are probably allowed more artistic freedom because of the lower financial stakes. See shivering isles, undead nightmare,infamous festival of blood, artorias of the abyss, etc.

because that's really fucking important. Beating GTA V just feels empty, when I beat SA I was still content fucking around in the world because it feels like an actual world. Once all the missions are gone in GTA V it feels like a weird ghost town. They want you out of offline mode and spending shark cards as soon as possible

DLC was one of the first steps the industry took down this road of anti-consumer practices that ultimately lead to where the industry is today. Instead of begging for paid DLC, we should applaud Rockstar for releasing nothing but free DLC (the DLC still sucks because it's shark card bait). Same could be said about EA and their DLC free star wars game, but it's yet to be seen if they'll even keep that promise because >EA.
