One of my biggest complaints is it feels kinda empty and sterile, nothing bad can ever really happen. One of the gimmicks is the emotional states, but sims bounce back from feeling sad as quickly as they get there. I kinda miss the random events in 2 where you could lose your job and have to bounce back from that. It just feels like nothing ever really "doesn't go according to plan" I guess.
