EVO 2019

With EVO just around the corner, what are you watching and what commentators you want for them?
>Tekken = Tasty Steve/Aris
>SFV = JChen/Ultra David
>DBFZ = Yipes/Sajam
Also, predictions or rather what you hope for.
>Capcom
SF6 announcement
Marvel being brought back from the dead
>Namco
Tekken season 3 with Kiryu reveal
>Arcsys
Janemba reveal for DBFZ with immediate release and Gogeta and nu-Broly gameplay reveal
New Guilty Gear announcement please

Well I guess I will be watching most events honestly, however this year doesnt seem as exciting for me as SFV seems to have lost steam just like DBFZ has lost a lot of hype. I will probably just keep one or two streams running and just see what excites me most, I am very undecided.

Any favorites you guys have or things I should look out for ?

Watch UNIST is probably the best game in the entire lineup

Please.

What’s with all the Melee hate recently? Don’t tell me you all actually LISTENED to Salem and his “years of research”

How many more days until EVO?

It's this Friday-Sunday.
I don't really care about commentators, I just hope the matches are good. Tekken usually is, and I really like UNI. Smash was alright at KSB. Hopefully the Samsho top 8 looks good. I'll be watching SCVI for sure too.

>Giving a shit about EVO after it gave Melee the boot

They're going to regret it.

Why are you forcing this fake controversy? Even a Melee god who is diagnosed with literal autism was okay with it, and the most outspoken obnoxious guy in the community Leffen was also okay with it.

Who will get Tifa as a guest? DoA6 or Tekken?

DBFZ

DBFZ does need more waifus

>Fighting game tournament down to only 1 non-fighting game
Sounds good to me

>SF6 announcement

The best possible thing we are getting is is a massive expansion of SFV that includes a graphical overhaul, better netcode, balance patch, new gameplay stuff like new V-Skills and CA, better universal defensive options, and a solid amount of new characters.

What we will actually get is two new characters and some e-sports announcement nobody will care about.

The only massive expansion you're getting is my big brown cock inside Menat's birth canal.

I'll be watching UNIST with a couple of friends. Hopefully clr will be announced and there will be more than 1 newcomer. I also wish there was another guilty gear on the way, though I suspect we will only get the leaked announcements and GB

Cringe but redpilled

>SF6 announcement
Yeah it isn't happening. I'd love for the AE patch to really change stuff but I doubt it. F2P version seems like the most likely next step.

>Marvel
On FChimp's stream where he was showing off the MvCi dev unit he basically sad it could happen at some point but not the near future.

Could another game happen? Maybe, I doubt it, doubt it would be good either but maybe capcom will take a risk on a dead IP or something new.

The only thing I'll watch for certain is the Rev 2 side tournament. I may watch UNI, at least for the top 8 because I want to see the -r trailer, and I may watch SamSho if the character variety seems okay, but I'm worried it might just be a bunch of Genjuro's. There definitely won't be a new Guilty Gear announced there. They have said they have some surprises ready for EVO, but I still can't see them announcing a new GG, they'll save it for ArcRevo.

That'll probably be announced at an ATLUS event and also probably won't be happening until at least after GBVS is out, I'd say. I'll be happy to see it though, whenever it comes about.

Capcom confirmed for winning EVO

It probably won't be announced here, but there is a new Guilty Gear on the way, of that I'm certain.

>Sony says to "stay tuned for more information from sony at evo"
>Capcom is still focused on SFV
Yeah, it's fucking time bros.
