Both Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party have great SP campaigns/weapon mastery missions and Deathmatch Mode BUT they both have missions that are pure bullshit and can stop you for a long time.

As for 3D. They're all alright for SP, Worms 4 had some story mode with cutscenes and all that, I admit I had more fun playing that one that I should. Shame you couldn't customize individual worm cosmetics, I had to settle for making every single one of my worms Big Boss.

this game was great, but the multiplayer on XBOX was retarded. You literally had to share a controller; like player 1 goes, then you pass the controller to player 2 for their turn. like what a dumb oversight

Maps were absolutely awesome, great single player campaign, great hud, funny voices and a lot of weapons (including the retarded pidgeon). Indeed the best worms.
Worms reloaded was the last good one, then they became worse and worse.

It was mentioned in the thread that Ultimate Mayhem has both 3D and Mayhem campaigns and stuff in it. So it's most likely better than Worms 4 at least

I liked Worms 3D's campaign and general atmosphere better, but something about Worms 4 drew me back a lot more than 3D.

The only good 3D Worms is Mayhem. 3D is a shitty beta in comparison.

It's actually Worms World Party, for the sole reason that me and my brother have found the perfect way to play it:

It's literally the same game but with added fort mode so you're not wrong

However, Armageddon is the only one with a living online community so it's still worth playing over WP

Armageddon has been continuously updated and patched since release. It has outpaced world party for a long time
