I don't think Tiny Arena is casual at all. Way harder to drive well there than on Twilight Tour. Just because you go fast on TT doesn't mean it isn't really easy. And then it doesn't even feel that fast anyway because the track is so wide and all the scenery is far away. Honestly they might as well make everyone go faster automatically, at least that way you're not screwed if you get hit by a weapon one second after the boost pad

The defining features of CTR are the reserve system and the unique boosting system that allows you to chain boosts during a power slide, in combination with tight gameplay and controls and well designed tracks of course. These are what defined the original, kept it alive for 20 years and made people ask for a remake. USF was only a tiny portion of a few tracks and sure as hell not the reason why people played the original over Mario Kart.

At some point you'll realize that it's not the weapons that are the issue, it's the boosting mechanic. Essentially you have a top speed that you can only reach by certain conditions, which is why the weapons become so devastating. You can't just accelerate to go full speed again. If you get hit, you're stuck in second gear until you hit an arbitrary part of the track which lets you go top speed again

I managed to beat deep sea driving's oxide time because handling made it easier to dodge the fans. However, if master advanced techniques (u-turning), speed indefinitely becomes the best option for every track.

Not really. Just like the original, Advanced is basically the optimal choice for people who have mastered the game mechanics. Beginner (Handling) exists so that newbies can complete story mode without constantly falling off the track and crashing into walls. Advanced with u-turns/airbraking, is like the closest thing to a re-balanced "Perfect" from the original CTR, with no Acceleration and Handling that is dependent on the players skill level.

The more content they create means the more people who continue playing and spending money on it. however that's only true with a system where a single user pays multiple times.
Even though they made a profit on the first wave of sales doesnt mean it is enough to justify supporting the game for another year, or even two years. But if they keep making more and more money as time goes on, that's incentive to keep support up
