Sure sounds like it. He had a tiny arc between brooding about how he's going to die and then being somewhat happy about being alive, but the whole dad retconning thing was really weird and almost out of place.

A damn shame, with Youngblood out i think it would've been a fun direction to take Blazko and his daughter asking a question if they should be these killing machines dismantling an existing world order by killing thousands of human beans in evil uniforms.

And even though a bunch of enemies are either robots or some weird nazi experiment, they repeatedly humanize the regular soldiers (instead of making them some sort of weird clonetrooper to get rid of moral dillema) and then pretend that nazis still torture general populace dayily, even after 40something years after winning the war.

Killing BJ is the cheapest way they could end this trilogy of games.

I actually hope BJ is killed off. From a narrative perspective he shouldn't have survived the end of TNO since it was the perfect way to end his story and start with something new. Nazis have been shown to torture the general populace on a daily basis, but I do think that humanizing the regular soldiers have introduced a moral dilemma that shouldn't exist in Wolfenstein. I think it fails massively since TNC in particular didn't do enough to show the horrors of the nazi regime. The re-introduction of salvery in the US, normal americans being demoted to 2nd class citizens and all of that horrifying shit was relegated to either background details or text logs. It didn't go to the lengths of TNO where it constantly reminds you of this fucked up shit, even make you go to a concentration camp.

I mean it'd have to be the very end of the game, and cut of right there almost like it was done in The New Order. As long as it was done correctly, it would be a great way to end it.
I can't see the series ending on an overly happy note.

Well they introduced the idea of a separate dimensions where everythign is a-okay and everything is happy, i think BJ is going to kill mecha-Hitler stop the doomsday clock, get injured AGAIN but be happy that he created a better future for his kids with the message that you never should stop fighting. Cue montage with babby commander keen and a narration by BJ.

but why even wait for all the events to happen, we know all the shit they produced is ancient which means they were thousands of years more advanced then any competition, why bother even trying to subtly rule anything when you can just decimate any rebellions before they happen much less waiting to the point there is now a rival faction that is equally advance.

i've been watching youtube shits on this new disaster about the lesbian sisters and I was very surprised to see how many people were saying TNC was a good game. Personally it was nauseating and I never finished it. gunplay was pretty good but the wacky ass story with antifa niggers everywhere just ruined it. whoever is developing this game are awful people. really awful and really smug and bad at writing. You can only get so far by "killing nazis" when you're talentless hacks. It is no surprise to me that the smugness caught up with them.

I have a similar theory that's actually pretty close to yours.
The game starts shortly after TNC ends and Set found out how the "god-key" works, and it is used as some sort of time-piece gameplay gimmick kind of like in Dishonored 2. Then eventually you fight Mech-Hitler in a boss battle, killing him and setting off the apocalypse they talk about in Youngblood.
Then after the events of Youngblood, shit basically hits the fan and BJ has to go back in time to before they lost the war, go through multiple levels with WW2 aesthetic and weapons, and eventually fight an OG Mech-Hitler and Deatshead at the same time, killing them both- thus preventing the Nazis from winning the war, completely changing all time-lines.
The game ends with BJ using the god-key to see his family end up happy, and then he dies from battle-wounds.

Mediocre, the gameplay can be enjoyable but stuff like the scarce ammunitions,lacking of enemy variety, the inability to pick up autromatically health and armor, and the absolute bullet spongy nazi space marines in certain parts kills the will to replay the game for me.
Sequels are movies with cringy characters ruined by the devs need to own trump and
they have barely any improvements, don't bother.

Fun if you like cinematic ‘Duty’ shooters, probably the best in that regard. I never finished it though, kind of gameplay is not for me; I prefer more open level structure for my shooting and don’t care too much for the story/cinematic angle.

My guess is that Zenimax "suggested" Machinegames do certain things to capitalize on whatever they thought was relevant and was in line with their marketing strategy, that's why some scenes seem tacked on and liek there were some rewrites, while stuff like KKK is not fully realized and Venus being a somewhat filler setting (unlike "i'm on the motherfucking moon" parts of TNO).

I might be wrong, but it feels like something was jumbled in the development and somewhat getting recovered by Youngblood.

TNO had the only romantic story in a game I was invested in, great game in general. TOB is awesome. TNC couldn't end fast enough. YB is okay so far.

It comes out of nowhere and kills the whole alternate history angle and it basically goes nowhere storywise other than to provide a macguffin bomb thing that's only on screen for like one scene. No. They make it quite clear both characters are more motivated by lust than anything else. That's not romance. For fuck's sake, BJ is fucking her literally a couple of days after meeting her and it's hinted she's been molesting his vegetable ass for years. Maybe the later games changed this but they weren't subtle about it in TNO. They are bonding over their pleasure in killing Nazis and that's about it.

You only saw them fuck because they didn't have much time to spend together, and that's what they chose to do with their time together.

I liked it. Shooting feels nice and things you shoot look great. OB is a decent followup. The problem with both games is there's not enough; not enough enemies, enemy types and, its biggest flaw, it's another Wolfenstein game without the Chaingun. 09 had this problem too.

Yeah, the game could really use couple more of enemies and guns. At least the end of TNO got kinda tiresome with constant spam of ubersoldiers and rocket troopers that are just far too durable unless you also use that AR rocket launcher addon.

It could have been alright if there wasn't as much stealth parts, less cutscenes, and for the love of god why the fuck would they ever ad that stupid fucking superjew technology shit. It had the potential to be so fucking aesthetic with the alternative setting, hell look at the picture OP posted, but they drop the ball on it and focus on the superjew story
