Actually...I think it's the opposite. We spent more than a year spamming grotesque Steve memes on Yea Forums in hopes that Banjo and the Hero wouldn't get in. After they got in, people thought grotesque Steve was done(which he was) but Minecraft was still fresh in people's memories.
