The problem with Dunkey's Octopath video is not that he criticized the game, it's that his criticisms boiled down to "I don't like JRPGs." Octopath is, in fact, a bad game, but he failed to criticize it in any meaningful way. He ignored all of its flaws and chose to level arguments against it that could be leveled against most JRPGs; not arguments about the objective quality of the game, but arguments that only tell you that Dunkey does not like turn based RPGs, which we already knew.
