35% third worlders
30% bots
20% hipsters, social outcasts and other weirdos
10% tradefags, aka rich hyper degenerate trannies and furries
5% somewhat more well-adjusted folk who are either hopelessly clinging on to the game or still somehow have their server or squad

TF2 has not had a major update since Jungle Inferno, unless you count some bug fixes, rebalancing, and fucking cosmetic cases. The lull between updates is getting longer. Everyone's really just moved on to other shit too, so don't expect to be playing with people you like at all anymore. The game's basically just limbo now. The supplemental story has almost concluded. We already have a decade's worth of extra material chronicling the team's many wacky exploits. TF2's time has passed, and the only thing left there is a shadow. You load up into shitty matchmaking, land on Upward, and play against some other nameless losers, not in anticipation for anything new or great, but just to walk that familiar trail again. 24 people in a server just spending another day in an already fleeting eternity.
