Communism describes a state whereby man has been educated on the objectively rational way to behave and behaves in that way, so the state withers away as people no longer need to be coerced into behaving certain ways because, as inherently rational creatures, they do the rational thing.
Cooperative multiplayer servers self-select for people who have the same objectives and the rules of the game impose a form of abstract rationality that requires them to behave in certain ways. So long as everyone is getting along and working together, you could be said to be witnessing communism.

Marx's idea that there is an objectively best way to live and that everyone will agree to live like that seems retarded to us now, but you've gotta remember that he was writing in the 1800s in the middle of the Enlightenment. He was far from alone in believing that rationality would solve all problems. Even today, pluralism isn't popular.
