This movie is gonna be so much worse than the first one, which was terrible but still sort of enjoyable because of the Rock and Karl Urban, mostly Karl Urban, pulling the weight of the entire movie. Now we get some chick who can't act, doesn't remotely look the part, and a horror movie instead of a movie about shooting demons. Are there at least demons in this one? There weren't any in the last one. Seriously though,
HOW DO YOU FUCK UP DOOM? It is the easiest thing to make a movie of. You just fill it with gratuitous violence, gore, and other cool shit, which you'd think Hollywood would have down pat at this point with all the generic action movies where the plot is virtually non-existent, but no. The one time they have source material that calls for one of those movies, THEY CAN'T FUCKING DO IT.
