This let's them focus on refining a few qualities (like gameplay) just right, without some quality assurance lead breathing down their neck to woo everything in the Amazon's Best Seller formula.

Meanwhile, I think Wolfenstein suffered from a Mass Effect Andromeda treatment. A lesser degree from that trainwreck, but still well enough to leave a very bad taste in the mouths of longterm fans of the series.

Extremely good. Gunplay is satisfying and the story is actually decent for a fps. Also get The Old Blood which is a long-ass "expansion" and prequel to New Order
