Who cares about triple A games. Indies are just as good as before if you pick the right ones.

Mixed bag. Triple A devs have experience, budget and lots of talent but produce nothing but complete junk. Indie devs have the right priorities and passion but they lack everything else. Indies can be good or even great but there's almost never that combo of good gameplay AND high quality or even cutting edge presentation which defines the 90s. That period is more of a historical anomaly though, so whatever.

nah bro the new stuff is trash. theres no nostalgia involved with old games. they are actually good games. i feel bad that you have your standards set so low that you think what comes out now is good.

Better. Late 2000s and early 2010s were the low point. We're not quite at '90s quality due to the jewing of major titles, but it's a lot better than it was.
