Whats up fags, I've been a console gamer for twenty years. I started with Duck Hunt and SMB for SNES, and now I have a Switch, Xbone, and PS4. Gaming has been my main hobby.
I'm 28 years old, and I'm here to say, that my thumbs are starting to really hurt.

you aren't a gamer if operating an ergonomically designed device is somehow causing you pain. begone, faggot

Be warned, it WILL happen to you.

I recommend taking breaks between prolonged use of a controller. If it still persist i urge you to seek medical attention. Better yet, you can use kbm on xbox one i belive so that might be better. Also what games do you play to even have sore hands op

Yeah.. no

no it won't because i don't have little bitch hands like you and i know how to hold a controller properly

>The hypothesis stated at the beginning of the study, that video game controllers have experienced considerable ergonomic development over time to fit the anthropometrics of a variety of users, can certainly be said to hold true. However, the failure of all four controllers’ face buttons to meet the required minimum diameter raises doubts whether manufacturers truly designed their controllers in accordance with standard anthropometric values. This shortcoming can be addressed by concluding that video game controllers are specialised devices made to fulfil the sole purpose of gaming, and so they cannot be effectively used as input devices for other purposes as of yet. They have features that cannot be identically adapted from other handheld devices, and so not all the standard anthropometric values used for the design of these devices can be applied to video game controllers. Regardless, video game controllers have undoubtedly experienced immense ergonomic development in their design over the years to become devices that are effective and satisfying in their usage. Perhaps these controllers will one day set their own distinct anthropometric standard that will be used to improve other everyday handheld devices.

So.. they're completely ergonomically designed but the buttons are a bit small? Stop eating burgers.

Time to upgrade then.

Take a break then. Maybe start working out.
Yeah, let’s pretend the keyboard and mouse are so good for you :)

You do know you can use gamepads on PC too, right?

They actually are. Instead of two thumbs you usually use all five fingers on one hand and three on the other while the most precise and citical movement (camera) is done by utilizing you forearm muscles.

Controller is made for casual 1 hour gaming slouched on couch while keyboard and mouse are designed so even after 8 hours long shift wageslaves dont feel physical pain.

Considering that people use them to work 8+ hours 5-6 days out of the week: yeah, mouse and keyboard are good for you.

Are you really that slow that you cannot understand what this thread is about? user recommended switching to PC specifically to use the KBM.
6/10 bait

You’re literally the reason why everyone makes fun of pcbros

I'm pretty sure you didn't.

I developed arthritis in my pointer finger from clicking LMB so much in so many ARPGs for 30 years and literally cannot play on KBM anymore. Feels fucking bad man.

Waiting on someone to create an upright mouse that's fit for adult male hands and not women or children.

You high son? There's a good amount of vertical mouses in all kinds of sizes out there. One of my coworkers uses one and I hate using it.
