Nothing pisses me off more than content restoration moos that adds "bonus" shit or incorporates things obviously wrong. Really any mod that adds some really nice things alongside shit-tier stuff makes my blood boil if they aren't able to be toggled on and off.

My issue is when those mods adds a shit ton of lore heavy items like the Crown of Barenziah, Claws, legendary weapons, or Elder Scrolls and litter them around your house. It also just makes shit look super inconsistent if you're playing a character that hasn't really done anything of significance.

the Heart of Evil? wasnt aware of a remake but that mod was some good vidya. the level design was so-so but the atmosphere was right on, and the gameplay was a neat tweak of the Half Life routine

They went into CQC with an enemy they barely knew anything about, without their primary firearms, completely and totally outnumbered.

You can see later in the film when they're in a defensive position, they kill scores more aliens than they lose.

False. It never was a part of the Restored Content Mod to begin with, droid planet has always been it's own separate thing (especially considering the planet had barely any content for it aside from a few dialogues left over, so they had to improvise and create their own thing for the planet, which is M4-78 EP). I agree though, it's a slog and should be avoided. There have been older mods of that planet being restored (not made by the same people) where it's mostly just a murder-dungeon (and I'd still take that over the most recent iteration).
