What kind of autism is required to play new game + in these games? Isn’t it just a slog to do everything again?

NG+ doesn't actually become harder than NG until > NG+4.
>What kind of autism is required
Wanting to play the game again without starting from level 1?
Going for the platinum trophy without savescumming?
If you enjoy the game then you will enjoy playing it again
Fucking hell the retards you find on this anime forum...
i only ever did ng+ in bloodborne because if you start a new character you need to play for hours before you can even slightly deviate from playing a generic quality built
it's fun to play as different character with new weapons and abilities in these games since you tackle parts of them diffrently, bloodborne is the weakest in this regard
>it's fun to play as different character with new weapons and abilities in these games since you tackle parts of them diffrently, bloodborne is the weakest in this regard
Somehow DS3 is even worse.
If you play with anything but a straight sword in pve, you're gimping yourself.
Only advantage of NG+ in souls games is that leveling becomes less important as in its harder to just over level and steamroll everything.
So the second playthru becomes even more a game of skill instead of game of 50% skill 50% stats.
NG+1 is like 80% skill 20% stats.

Why do you hate video games?
What can you parry in this game? I feel it's safer to play like darksouls but that takes too long.
I just start a new character. Never played ng+ in any game for more than 20 minutes
In these kinda games, the main thing that improves is your ability, not your character. Starting ng+ lets you tear through parts of the game that originally kicked your inexperienced ass.
>Starting ng+ lets you tear through parts of the game that originally kicked your inexperienced ass.
Because the bosses don't scale enough, retard. The first bosses don't have nearly enough hp compared to your endgame setup and stats.
A lot of enemies can be parried. It's easier than the other games.
Once I learned to parry BSB, it made him a joke
I thought that when I restarted dark souls and got comboed by a hollow. I was specifically referring to my experience with sekiro. After starting ng+ I flawlessed the boss you're supposed to lose to, since his moveset is basically the same as the first phase of the final boss.
Chill nigga we're just talking about video games
i played up to ng+2 in Demon's Souls and the Maneaters were bullshit and prevented me from getting platinum. I think I even cheated to by duping boss souls and it still didn't matter.
>parrying
Everyone, which is a shame. Many of the bosses are trivialised by parrying, including some of the best (Kos and Maria)
God help you if you find the tentacle thing which basically extends your parry frames to like 2 whole seconds xdddd
I've tried to replay every Soulsborne game and always get bored almost immediately.
I like the games but they heavily rely on novelty. Once you know where everything is and understand how the game works, all you're left with is the core mechanics, which are just serviceable.
I don't do NG+ but just start fresh everytime.
It's replayable if you go without firearms and parties. The game becomes more challenging then since parries make it 50% easier. For example, Gascoigne is actually becomes problematic, intensive and fun boss instead of being a visceral slut and dying in one minute.
But yeah, replayability in bb is inferior even compared to ds3.
I think I've only managed to do it like 4 times in the whole franchise. I'd love to be a parry god but I'll settle for being a big dumb truck man.
Every souls game has zero replayability besides of ds2.
Never understood the appeal of that unless the game gets significantly harder on NG+, otherwise how's it fun to be overpowered and waltz through the game? What's the point of playing again if you're essentially just sleepwalking through all the actual content
Not talking about Bloodborne specifically, I don't know anything about its NG+
All enemies get approximately 20% harder in every NG+ cycle, meanwhile, most of your stats hit a softcap, so eventually the enemies power growth surpasses yours.
