Is Three Houses good for beginners? I've only played the GBA Fire Emblem games and TH looks really complex.

Three Houses is my first FE game as well. It's perfect for beginners. They lay everything out to you, mechanics wise. Plus the story is pretty interesting, so far.

Oh that's good. Very tempted to try it out then, I hear people are really liking it.

As someone who played a little of the GBA Fire Emblem a few weeks ago and a smidge of Awakening, Three Houses is definitely fun. I'd give it a go, especially if you enjoy things like the Advance Wars games on GBA

Just got done playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 and it put me in the mood for real Dragon Quest games so I started on the DS trilogy with IV. Just got to chapter 5 and I'm enjoying it so far.

Had my Switch about a month and I'm really enjoying it. So far I've got Smash, Odyssey, Mario Maker 2, and bunch of eShop stuff that I picked up in the sale.

Gonna try and limit myself to one proper full price retail game per month so I don't go nuts and buy more than I can play.

I've never been big on the 3D Zeldas but BotW seems a bit different and feels kind of obligatory anyway, but I'm also tempted to get this new Fire Emblem even though I've never played one before.

Bayo 1 has occasional frame drops (compared to 360 version) but its extremely minor.
Bayo 2 is noticably better on the Switch.

You get a discount for buying both games through the e-shop so that it works out to be the same as if you just bought a physical copy of Bayo 2 (which comes with the Bayo 1 download code). This is good because the physical version is FUCKING NOWHERE now.

They ported it into the unity engine, and in the process it now has a stretched resolution, slower/weird sounding music and fucked up lighting. Not something most normalfags will immediately notice but it's jarring to me.

I purchased a switch about 5 days ago. I picked up BotW and Smash Bras. I also downloaded Warframe which i would never do with a console or PC but I did cause it looks good on handheld mode and it is actually interesting for what it is.

I returned the switch tho after finding out the switch is getting a battery upgrade. It feels like a lifetime without switch tho. i'm feening.

This is a long shot, but I'm desperate and I couldn't find this problem anywhere else.

I've spent a day and a half trying to get Atelier Lulua to run on my switch. everytime I boot it up out gets to the game loading screen then it crashes with an error screen. I've deleted/redownloaded the game multiple times (to internal memory and sd card), checked for corrupted data, deleted save data, tried different accounts, and even formatted and factory reset my switch, but I'm still getting this same error and crash at the same place. I've looked up every possible solution, but I can't find anything.

I highly doubt it's my SD card because everything else on it runs absolutely fine.

The battery isn't the only issue theyre trying to phase out. A good chunk of the launch models are all hackable and theres nothing Nintendo can do on their side, won't be long till someone finds a way to properly play online and avoid getting banned.

Original Switch has a 20nm processor. The new upgraded Switch has a newer more energy efficient 16nm processor. This was not possible for Nintendo when the original Switch came out. This newer more energy efficient processor is what allows the Switch to have a better battery life.

I guess what I don't get is why they wouldn't put that better battery in the switch lite since the emphasis there is on handheld play. Apparently the new switch has better battery life than even the switch lite. And why not wait to introduce this improvement for when they actually develop a switch pro? I'd imagine it would be a pretty big selling point for the switch pro if it were an improvement in every way instead of the switch pro likely having the same battery as the new switches will have. botw, odyssey, travis strikes again, and splatoon 2 are some of my favorites, but if your last nintendo console was the wii I highly recommend Mario Kart 8. One of the best racing games I have ever played, plus its fun to play with everyone. Playing mk8 in the back of a car on a ten hour road trip is some of the most fun I've ever had.

Handhelds get upgraded models all the time. The Nintendo Switch isn't getting a power boost in terms of rendering capabilities in its role as an HD console, it's getting a powerboost in its battery in its role as a handheld.

The original Game Boy was a big brick compared to the leaner Pocket, then the Color came around.
The Game Bo Advance had the SP variant which had a fucking backlight, a rechargeable battery and could fold up, and later the Micro.

I literally own a pro controller. Turned to shit after about 8 months. Keep the "but it didn't happen to me" shit to yourself. People like you are one of the reasons nintendo got away with joycon drift for so long. Obviously it won't happen to everyone at the same time. I probably play more than you do. Despite that, I still expect the controllers to last at least over a year. I've had controllers that lasted 2 years. It's not like I'm slamming the goddamn thing on the floor or spilling gamer fuel on it. I'm just playing games with it.

You can set the difficulty to easy and farm legendary cores with Driver Combos from Vampire Bride Marion in Uraya. Just don't kill it if you want to avoid getting overleveled. It drops gold chips, too, which upgrade your Blade weapons to have increased 50% item drop rate from enemies.

Getting back into Hyrule Warriors, grinding in CTR, and play marvel UA3. I got FE3H also. (Forgot I pre-ordered it on Amazon)

According the director, iirc, its feasible but would cost more money to port it than most games, so its really up to Nintendo. Personally, I'm a little bit optimistic, since I doubt it would cost as much as developing a new game, and Xenoblade has pretty good brand recognition among Switch owners, but I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you.

you should be able to save up and get a switch lite then, actually your best bet mught be a switch lite on black friday. I believe in you user, you can do it! also hack your 3ds to save money. I buy most of my games but the 3ds is super easy and convenient to hack, and I never use 3ds game online anyways

Playing Slay the Spire, going through ascension hell yet again (managed to eek out A20 wins on all characters on PC). Currently on A10, 10 and 11. Best run today was a Juggernaut/Body Slam deck. It's actually the first time I managed to make Juggernaut work well for me. Helped that I had Ornamental Fan, Turnip, Rage and a couple Iron Waves.
The port is actually fucking great, only Switch game where I'm actually making use of the touch screen.

Do you mean non-Japanese, or are Jap games that aren't very weeb-ish fine? Either way, I would say Doom is the only game series I can think of that precisely meets your specification. Give Darkest Dungeon a shot if you haven't though, its indy but it has the polish of a mid-tier Jap game.

Very low, Monolith's already working on at least three different games and they went on record saying porting X would be too costly. At this point there's a better chance you'll see an X sequel on Switch before a port.
