If nothing catches my eye or is "FEMALE ONLY" bullshit, I go Ranger/Thief > Warrior/Mage, depending on what looks interesting.
When it comes to weapon choice, It becomes completely different.
Spear (and Shield) > Any Non-bow Ranged weapon/Pistols and Revolvers > FISTS > Single Sword (Not Katana) > Sword and Shield > Magic Weapons > Everything Else.

Bloody Lane gives 6. Total Eclipse Slayer only gives 4, but you get better gold reward at the end. 20k compared to Bloody's 4k. Both cost 8FP to run. Disaster sector does give out the most but takes too long since you have to go into every room. 1 star is shit so you have to be geared enough to do 2-3 stars.

Ghostblade can make all his skills instant cast with his "teleport to ghost" skill, you probably just aren't playing him correctly.

Enchantress does do pretty good damage for a support, though.

He means the skills that don't use the ghost (skills without red/blue icon) can be made instant with his dash n slash skill. When you use that skill, it puts you in a stance and some of your skills turn blue. When you use them, their startup is gone and they become instant.

The explorer club is on the bottom right, next to your mp bar/orb. For the event, you put in someone else's explorer club name as your support veteran person.

explorer club is the system all your characters belong to, ie my bug ele and witch are all part of my explorer club, the icon to the right of your HP bubble shows your explorer club level click it to see all the different explorer club things

You can make a new account and add them to your main account for the event. It's what I did with my steam account. As for "playing together", I don't know if DFO is multi-boxing friendly.

Yeah, take advantage of the event and make both Enchantress and Ghost Blade. Leveling 2 event characters will get you a 95 epic weapon which is considered best-in-slot for almost all classes and a 10+ reinforcement ticket to make it stronger. Both characters will also end up in full epic gear if you do everything which is just getting to level 95 and doing dawning crevice.

Harlem accessories are perfectly acceptable, but you'd need to upgrade to Tayberrs armor.

The 15 potions you get is plenty, and you can use outside consumables now (5 per fight). If you're new you do what I did - memorize the mechanics and throw yourself at pubs until one accepts you.

If you like how it looks, sure. Other than that, the title is +1 to your buff, and the bead makes it +2. You can buy it or farm a shitton of gold and trade for it. There are other ways to get +buff stuff or the crit chance.

Enough where 12 hotkeys wont be enough. Not counting buffs, on average, my characters use 15 skills.

An OV set isn't enough for anything besides leveling for a short period. You would have needed at least an ancient legendary set to do anything. But more preferably an Echon set.

DFO's mechanic is underwhelming yet fucking awesome at the same time. Most often you're just throwing toasters at enemies, but then you punch them with a giant robot from a pocket dimension or have an army of nazibots teleport in and explode all over the screen.

Endgame enchants have gone way down, +20 enchants are sub-15m. You don't need legendary enchants for shit, not even for chicken raid.

Selling terranium from DS3, cards from dazzlement binding, and lucky raid flips are still good ways to make gold. Supplement with Total Eclipse grinding depending on your personal level of desperation.

Your swap set is... 5 piece chrons. The set effect isn't even activating. What the frigg dude, fix that.

Ditch 5s for harlem accessories and swap your skill level title (which ain't really a damage title) out with an actual damage title, one of the +10pct smash or crit smash options on the AH. Or the 10pct elenore ones. You may have to do some browsing of the title section, I forget which titles specifically give that stuff but any choice is fine as long as it doesn't conflict with your pet. What pet are you using?

You said earlier your shit's all enchanted, but for clarity's sake, are your accessories at +13 ele damage and mstone at +12 ele damage? You've got ele damage enchant on your weapon, right?

Smash is optional in 95 cap but is highly recommended since every single piece of gear in 95 cap gives you "Additional" Crit/Attack Smash. This means that you should optimally try to get at least one source of non-stacking Smash on something like an event title or pet. Seriously get rid of the Sensory set, it's garbage unamped compared to literally any Harlem Epic set.

Sensory doesn't give smash. The only thing with smash from 90-95 are pets and titles.

Is additonal smash not the same as normal smash? As in additional 50% smash doesnt give me the same damage as 50% non-stacking smash?

Additional smash is additive both with itself and any regular smash modifiers. Regular smash is additive only with any additional smash modifiers, and only your highest regular smash modifier applies.

20% regular smash + 10% additional + 15% additional = 45% smash
20% regular smash + 15% regular smash + 10% additional + 15% additional = still 45% smash (the 15% regular is overridden by the 20%)

Don't bother wasting your time kaleidoing your armor, that shit only matters on sader and even then the difference is extremely marginal. The only piece of gear you should worry about the quality of is your weapon, and that I'd recommend just using a master kaleido box on to get a guaranteed 100%. When the summer events hit in about a week you'll be able to get one from the shop.

Yup, just fixing the chron issue, throwing on Dream, and tightening up my rotation has put me at 1.7b, much much better.

Smash, crit smash- doesn't stack, says so on the gear, only on 95 leg accs for gear
Skill attack- Stacks multiplicatively
Elemental damage- Stacks additionally, does way more damage than it says it does because of your element attack stat
Everything else- Stacks additionally

No, because armor quality generally only affects the base stats of the armor (i.e. you go from +40 str to +48). None of the damage modifiers are affected. The only exception is if the armor has an elemental damage or flat weapon attack (not +% weapon attack). It's so marginal that any gold spent on it is pretty much wasted. There's much better things to buy.

You're better off just using Xpadder. Korea actually has official branded controllers though.

does anyone know how to use the buff swap? I can never figure it out for the life of me.

Click the buff swap book in your inventory screen.
Drag your buff swap gear in it. You need to keep those gears in your inventory.

1) Click the buff icon in the swap window so it has a checkmark on it (if you were a man sader you'd have two choices here)
2) Add gear to the swap window that affects your buff (at first 6 piece chron set + skill-level raising gear, eventually you'll do operation hope in every gear slot)

The only skill the swap system works for is your self-buff skill or, if you're one of the now three saders, your damage party buff skill.

"Fixed damage" classes scale with the independent attack stat instead of the physical/magic attack stat. Their weapon is still important.

Enchantress doesn't care about damage anyway, you need sky legacy for the other things it does (increases buff potency and adds 10 seconds to her 1a).

Pretty much.

Valor crystals? Yeah, everything you can buy with it helps in getting a new or less used character up to max level and unlocking the extra equipment slots. Level tickets are one of the ways some event characters hit 1-95 in one day. The improved growth potion also helped some people hit 95 quicker when the level cap got increased.

Just getting back into DFO now. Made an Inquisitor when fPriest first came out. Now trying out mRanger, and trying to level my monk again. I've literally made a monk 4-5 times over the course of this games lifetime including back when it was made by Nexon.

I can never get past the midgame hurdle, I just feel like he falls off too much compared to all the other classes I've played. Highest levels are my fGrappler and Inquisitor. With Avenger right behind it.

Any tips on how to help the monk grind?

maybe level an event character to max then just use valor crystals to level up your monk

I wish there was a game that existed that had classes like this. Martial arts is my favorite theme and grapplers are my favorite thing to play. Besides this game, the only thing that let me do this was archaic roguelike games

All I remember of DFO is that Rose is supposed to be from it (and Rose is lovely) and there was something called "belief and promise" that utterly destroyed the first iteration of the game. I still don't fully understand it but I appreciate it for giving me Rose.
