It uses the WoW formula of an abililty grid with the global cooldown system, but what it does different is have a relatively long GCD (2.5 seconds) but having loads of off-GCD abilities that you weave in between.
It takes quite a while for classes to start getting fun, around level 40-50 I'd say, but once you hit that point it's WoW combat done right
I've been meaning to make a webm of the drill ability because it's satisfying as fuck
