Do you have a single fact to back that up?
>when does it get good?
When you hit 'New Game'.
looks like someone didn't stick with the prod
i started playing it because of the praise this board gives it, and it turns out to be shit
it gets good when you find paul
i found Paul and got captured trying to escape from the goons, about 5 hours in now and considering dropping the game because i am just not clicking with it
I feel like Deus Ex is the same as Morrowind in the way that if you played it when it came out you propably spent hundreds of hours with it and enjoyed it but if you play it for the first time today you will have a hard time getting into it.
Morrowind has horrible gameplay though
after china
just like Deus Ex then
Something tells me you're still on Liberty Island.
Your feelings are wrong. I played it for the first time in 2018 and it became one of my favourite games.
Zoom zoom
i already said where i was im 5 hours into the game and just got captured trying to escape paul dentons apartment, can you not read?
Its a good game has its faults but doesnt every game.
boom boom boom boom i never leave my room playing old games forever from now until forever
then drop it, you need a certain mindset to enjoy it and it's ok to not like something Yea Forums loves.
deus ex didn't age as gracefully as some other games, but amount of gameplay freedom it gives you is still great to this day
Fuck off Todd.
Number one: Thats terror
Number two: Thats terror
>b-but i'm a REAL gamer guise, guise i'm serious GUISE
it's okay user, just play your fortnite and be done with it.
I dropped it after 8 hours. System Shock 2 is better
>that pic
my sides are obliterated
Plotwise, It gets really god after Paul dies
Iron and copper
I heard that you can get me inside
It's a lot more fun if you set self-imposed challenges, like pure stealth runs. Human Revolution is very similar in that way.
How about fucking deciding for yourself you fucking assbag. Yea Forums loves the souls series and I think it is autistic wank material that is utter shit. People just like different things. Fuck your stupidity and your bait thread, I am pissed. Why can't this place ever just be normal and not fucking stupid, while everywhere is is fucking stupid but "act" normal.
>always preferred stealth playstyles when it's an option
>doing full stealth run in HR
>never kill anyone to get the achievement
>some fag died because of sleepy dart in the head
Fuck this shit, fuck stealth, I'm playing "immersive sims" full guns blazing from now on.
From the first minute, so i think you just have poor taste.
>when console kiddies can't handle true PC games.
>limiting your experience over achievements
I just play that shit. If someone feels like a bad guy, I kill them. If not, I knock them out or avoid them. None of the Belltower fags survived Alice Garden. I killed them as slowly as possible.
Same. I bought it winter and liked it fine
it's shit that has aged terribly
ignore Yea Forums boomers and move on
to be honest, it get's good once you get into a specific brand of autism this game requires. It's amazing, it really is, the amount of freedom it gives you is unmatched to this day, but it also does a piss poor job of easing you into it. I only ever started really enjoying the game on my second playtrough, when i was completely familiar with all the gameplay quirks.
>not saving him
if you want to start enjoying the game more, stop playing it like a generic stealth/action game and think outside the box. Find out how to trick the AI, look for alternate routes in the environment, experiment with different weapons, think of the game as a sandbox. Learning all the different systems and how you can manipulate them to your advantage is half the fun.
>tfw played the entire Human Revolution campaign non lethal but didn't get the achievement because i thought the beginning intro didn't count
Fucking kids, I swear.
That and the Dishonored pissed me off so much
You can't fuck kids in Deus Ex.
I CAN TELL THEM YOU'RE A SPY AND THEY WILL KILL YOU
As disappointing as IW was, i still feel it was a better successor to Deus Ex than anything Squeenix has shit out.
If only they didn't go for the graphics angle, it could have been just as great as the original.
This follows for IRL as well desu.
Played it for the first time 3 years ago and it's probably the best game i've ever played.
Liberty Island is shit, then It gets good when you arrive at Hell's Kitchen, then it gets shitty again during the Boat mission, but then it gets good again on the last level.
All said and done it remains the best entry in the series followed by Human Revolution.
>Revolution
see
Mankind Divided is the only patrician choice.
Alright user, you've convinced me to give it another shot.
Let's go.
Played it first time summer 2018. Mind = blown.
Easily one of the greatest PC games ever made.
Played it for the first time this year, had a lot of fun trying not to kill anyone before snapping and just killing everyone with a sword
Was there ever any danger in the boss fight against simons? When I got to it I just activated strength, speed and smacked him with the dragontooth before he started speaking.
>that might have been over the line, JC
no boss fight is really dangerous, as all of them can be cheesed.
The only reason he's dangerous is because you can't see shit if he hits you with the plasma
I just ran past him and when i met him at area 51 he just dissapeared.
I do like Mazda too
>just like Deus Ex then
Deus Ex doesn't have dice roll combat like Morrowind, so I don't know why you would compare the two. Heck, if you max out weapon skills, it's basically Unreal with different weapons.
