I replayed soc recently, along with beating cs and cop for the first time.
really good games still, need to try out some mods in the future but I'm burned out

I've played so much of STALKER and it mods, i don't think any possible mod pack could reinvigorate my passion for it.

and by full open world map i mean that the map is not divided in areas by loading screens

and by more roleplay elements i dont mean levels / skills or any of this crap ... just more opportunities on dialogs / world to do things as you please and using different methods to complete shit

Why does SOC look so much better than COP and CS? I don't know why but there seems to be more detail and more objects around. COP is empty af and CS also lowered the amount of objects in the SOC maps.

Yeah I know your pain, it lasts until you grab your first SMG and simply annihilate everyone with headshots. SoC/CS are hitscan so just peak from corners and fire from the hip - headshots only.
I recommend call of pripyat, its traced bullets and has excellent guns in readily available stashes.
Remember, accurate weapons + headshots + master difficulty = easy win

im pretty sure that the map of the three stalkers were like that because the engine had its limitations/restrictions
