okay

>cowascooby
Literally who cares

>Took until Absolute Zero to be a complete game
>Zombie map order was fucked up by publisher interfering and that screwed their PR up
>Literally locking all the character skins behind specific purchases, where before there were some on the pass and some in the Black Market
>Fucking making Weaponized 115 a 7 dollar camo

what the fuck are they supposed to be then?

Tally marks

Is that what they're going with now?

It's what they did with BO2 and BO3, the next BO title is rumoured to be Black Ops: Vietnam so they can call it BOV

The next Black Ops is going to follow the formula that MW is setting and just be Black Ops. It wont be V. It will be Black Ops. They're doing a hard reset on the franchise.

That's why it's not a numbered entry. It will be called Black Ops: Vietnam. This came from the same people who leaked that the Sledgehammer game for 2020 was cancelled.

so then the fifth installment will be using roman numerals

I haven't played this since November after hitting 8th prestige on PC. Is the game dead now? There's next to literally nothing for shooters right now and I just want that MW/WaW/BO1 feeling again

MGS did the exact same thing.

No, Game's actually still pretty active since a new operation started like 2 weeks ago. Nuketown zombies map is pretty good too

Do I have to give any shekels to jewzzard in order to play the active content? I didn't buy any of the DLC because fuck that shit desu. Also how good are the people playing? I was able to maintain a 3.5-4 KDA or w/e before, is it still going to be an easy pubstomp?

It's the same as every CoD in terms of DLC. Sucks that the most effective AR in the game atm is a reserve crate gun, but with contracts in the game they aren't too hard to grind out.

You'll have access to all the base game maps and Blackout perfectly fine. People can also share DLC with you for MP if you party up with friends.

That sounds pretty good. Is the DLC worth it?
>I appreciate your opinion becuase everyone shits on this game despite me enjoying it ( I really don't give a fuck about mtx unless its broken)

Post proof.

I mean the new MP maps are nice. It all banks on if you play Zombies or not since I think you have to still all or nothing on the BO Pass.

Most of the DLC MP maps usually consist of like 1-3 new maps and 1 remastered BO1 map, like I think the past two seasons have been Hanoi and WMD.
In terms of zombies I'd say the DLC maps are pretty fun
>Sort-of tight quarters Mansion that has vampires and werewolves
>Ancient Greek city that is really easy to train on, 4 unique wonder weapons ala staves/bows
>Nuketown zombies but bigger, 4 elemental ray gun mk 2s

I wouldn’t buy the DLC. I don’t know how it is now, but only a few months ago when I was actively playing cod, everyone was saying no one could play the dlc maps because of how lobbies work. So basically you’ll barely play what you’ve paid for.
It’s worth it for the zombies though if you’re into that.

zombies is literally the only reason to get the game

Well, that's the correct why to write 4 in roman numberals.
Kill yourself IV fags.

>2007, cod4 mw
>2016, cod4 mw remaster
>2019, cod4 mw remake

>Absolute Zero
Shit was still unfinished then. I'd argue it's still not a complete game

We're still missing Factions and Newton's Cookbook (despite the groundwork being in the game for it) but that operation at least had the game be functional compared to launch.

>they are supposed to be this thing because I say so!
not how it works kiddo

If they make it to 5, and the tally marks speculation is correct, will it be the first product counted in tally marks?

Is this game worth to get? CoD is still good right?

I got it for €10 in humble monthly and I don't really think it's worth any more than that. Decent fun for that price, although the whole thing is a little sad. For better or worse, COD was once a trendsetter, and blops4 is just them forcing in the mechanics of all the more popular shooters now.

You know IIII appears on some clocks for 4, right?

zombies is pretty fun, blackout can be ok if you like BR, mp was ok, but felt like activision was cannibalising overwatch's mechanics too much

I remember seeing the launch trailer for 4 actually and though all those new abilities would be cool, but what's the issue?

I want playable Hitler

They're just out of place really. Most of them barely have any impact on the game at all but they put them in any because hero shooters and cooldowns are the hip new thing with the kids these days.

>You lived long enough to see Treyarch turn to the dark side and Sledgehammer Games become based as fuck
What fucking timeline is this?

what are they though?

>yfw Treyarch could've ignored the Lamia MTX claim instead of saying it was a team effort to make everything MTX

Why do I wreck absolute shit in every BO except this one? What's different? I don't understand, help

Tally marks. Black Ops 5 is going to have a big bloody slash through the 4 and everybody go "WHOOOOAAA" at E3 haha

But they already did Vietnam for the first Black Ops.
And then they just used the same damn weapons as MW2 anyways, so what's even the point of doing it again

There's rumors Black Ops IIIII is going to be set in a steampunked (likely because of automatic weapons) version of the American Civil War.
