Basedny MDR1. They look great, very comfy, sound is ok but my hearing is fucked anyway.

What is so special about these? I see people posting them on threads like this pretty often.

>cracked but still holding
ah my brother

They were the go to meme headphone for a long time, but I think the price went up and the competition got better. They're still not bad.

ATH-AD500x

If I'm looking to get a pair of headphones for PC (and portable I guess) gaming, what would be the cheap but good measure? Looking to throw out these garbage headsets and actually get a standalone mic + headphone combo

Attached: file.png (425x425, 70K)

Bose QuietComfort 35s
They're wireless Bluetooth with a jack so you can switch to wireless, they have volume fine tuning buttons on one side, pretty quick to charge (a few hours to full, lasts for a few days of long use), and they're pretty comfy with good audio quality. Not to mention the acoustic noise cancelling that really sells it.
Only downside is that your ears get stuffy and a little cramped if you leave them on too long.
if anyone considers it get the silver colored ones. They're easier to clean and you don't need a light to see what's going on inside the cup.

I've been using the same Sennheisers PC 350 SEs for a few years now. Anyone got any recommendations for something good, preferably under $100?

Dollar store earbuds because headphones are irritating after a couple hours and because I like have just one bud in while talking to my nonexistent girlfriend.

>square cups
what the fuck

jesus christ. how much effort did it take you guys to try and find shitty premium headphones that try too hard to be similar to steelseries headphones but hilariously fall short in performance every time?

it's lame as fuck to collectively hate something because memes but try so hard to cope with something similar because looking cool on an imageboard > actually buying quality shit.

Like when AMD fanboys shit on Nvidia GPUs but pray for the day when AMD releases something remotely equal in quality and performance to Nvidia's stock.

Attached: 488963-steelseries-arctis-pro-gamedac.jpg (810x456, 97K)

they're ear shaped and comfy

Anyone have any opinion of the Razer Nari Ultimate headset? I bought one for cheap because my jacks on this PC for some reason are fucked.

Literally £25 when I got them, they've lasted over 3 years already and are the best headphones I've ever used

I realize this is bait but Sony have been making those exact phones for 30+ years. Official boomer core, faggot

>Razer
It's shit.

HyperX Cloud are just perfect, comfy as fuck, you can detach pretty good quality mic, rebranded surprisingly good takstar
cheap

Senheiser HD 650s with a Schiit modi DAC and Schiit magni amp.

imagine unironically wearing closed back headphones

I really have nothing bad to say about them. They sound perfect and are so comfy you can wear them 16 hours a day without so much as noticing it. Even in the blazing summer heat they weren't actually warm to wear.

I have money to buy better ones, I could easily throw 500 dollars on headphones and an amp now, but I really don't see the reason when these sound as good as they do.

HyperX Cloud Alpha

quick, can i use both my ds4 and bluetooth headphones at the same time?

Thinking about getting beyerdynamic 1990 pros with the schiit setup. It'll be for everything, music, gaming, and movies. Good idea?

Open back are way more comfortable and the sound is way more natural. The 'sound stage' is way better so it's a lot easier to tell where a sound is coming from in games.

Someone recommend me a good bluetooth headset that I can use for my new TV. Mid-range price max.

Attached: JIBUN WOOOO.jpg (1440x1080, 83K)

Probably some meme headphones that Yea Forums would tell me I overpaid for, but they're comfortable, good sound quality, built in microphone, durable, etc.

I paid $100 for them though. It says Steelseries on the side of them, if that tells you anything.

I only use the soiest of headphones like STAX because I'm too much of virgin/weeb/ Idol loving beta. Buying a Razr is something only Chad's do.

Attached: yes I own STAX how did you know.jpg (1024x672, 237K)

the treble on those is terrible, and they said way too colored
dt 1990 pro are amazing though

Imagine paying as much for your DAC as your headphones.

some cheap Senheisers, wouldn't buy again.

alright i'll take your word for it

Got these from Amazon warehouse for 50$. How much did I fuck up? They feel comfy enough

Attached: 203515373.jpg (1159x1041, 171K)

cope harder and enjoy your shitty sound

I've heard their sound profile can seem a bit too flat for some people. They are excellent headphones though and you can always adjust the profile in software if you don't like it.

>$350 off sale
what the fuck user?

Fidelio X2

canpicker dot com

my head transcends human standards and I'm wearing headphones just fine

Philips Fidelio X2HR, most comfy headphones i had. Also the quality is insanely good (Very good balance in High, Mid & Low, bass is also 10/10 with the right equalizer).

I recommend using the fiio e10k olympus AMP instead of the ATOM for this one.

I disagree, the mic quality is shit. Everything else is perfect

none because i have tinnitus, i don't know how much longer i can last bros

Attached: 1500065470987.jpg (750x1000, 83K)

just got these. they are uncomfortable because the speakers are squeezing my ears a bit. gonna try to put some padding into them.

Attached: pioneer.jpg (1200x665, 104K)

the shit stack was only 200

>these

Attached: audition_1.png (1024x1024, 626K)

Where?

Imagine not having an open and closed back pair of headphones.

Some shitty cheap Sony headphones they had at Walmart, because they were like $20

lmao you've been using those pieces of shit for 3 years?
They sound terrible get some better ones now.

I have a close back pair (m50x), but I never where them since I got my 650s. Open back is superior for all use cases besides being in public I guess.

Based

>headphonelets

When will they learn?

Attached: 09.jpg (680x453, 39K)

forgot to post this beauty

Attached: fidelio.png (380x458, 159K)

why don't you just take them back and stop holding onto them for their gimmicky, quite atrocious leather and steel finish which you won't even see because they'll be on your head a majority of the time?

I was gonna buy the black ones, but they were out of stock

also I had to get them online and I hate returning stuff online so I will just keep them.

>spending over 50$ on fucking cans
I shiggy diggy!

Attached: 91a9tmJNkaL._SL1500_.jpg (1468x1500, 224K)

They're on sale for $80 off on bose's site but everywhere else it's ~$350

learn what? let me guess, Stax or in ear tampons.

Good choice and reasoning, my dude. The elephant in the room is that there are huge diminishing returns after your price point and no "audiophile" wants to admit it. I won't say that there's anything wrong with hi-fi in general, but if I had to guess I would say many, if not the majority "audiophiles" are lying to themselves because the cognitive dissonance would be all too much at the depth they're in at this point. I expect some flak for this post because it's an unsettling truth for those it describes in what could be considered their "den".

beyerdynamic custom street
nice sound quality

Attached: Beyerdynamic-Custom-Street-Kopfh-rer-1_600x600.jpg (600x600, 46K)

I have those, bought them after trying out dozens of different sets when I visited Akihabara (harder to do that where I live)
I'm very happy with them (using a FiiO Q1 too) but I really don't like wearing anything on my head when I'm gaming, I might get these and an R-10SW later this year

Attached: R51PM SPECS.jpg (850x1100, 211K)

Why are you quoting me? Are you unable to read?

mmm actually it's not R-10SW, it's R-100SW now
but yeah, I think I'm done with headphones for gaming

the one in your pic actually. i've probably had it for 8 years now.

I've had two pairs of Klipsch in the past, and while the sound is pretty good, they don't last. Each pair died after about a year of use so I've avoided that brand for now.

Attached: 20190728_120151_1.jpg (3281x2606, 2.13M)

my friend says he's had his Klipsch speakers for decades and they're still fine

Unironically a great set of headphones, my only issue was that the microphone would eventually lean forward and down on its own after a lot of use. I'm back to my G930's though, now that I fixed a mini-usb issue.

Attached: 1332970404859s.jpg (115x126, 3K)

but other people can hear it

ask /g/ they have a thread for that

Schitt Stack + HD650s. You have impeccable taste in audio.

why do you larping niggers post stock photos

still rocking my ATH-M50X

What TV did you buy?

LG 49UK7550MLA. Fucking love it so far.

actually the best pair of headphones ever owned since no wire=no fraying and one side disconnecting after 6 months

Why bother with an amp with HD 650s? They're not hard to drive.

Ok just making sure you're not fucking retarded and it actually has Bluetooth.

You got a price range?

I dont want audio leaking back into the mic making shit fucking weird or impossible in post.

Friends, I need some advice. Most of my life I've been using ear buds like a pleb but only because finding the right pair of cans has been a hassle because my ears are super sensitive. But now I've been trying and so far after three attempts I can't find a pair that doesn't heat up my ears after a while. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

But user I have these for public use

Sennheiser 598SE (NOT C, those are closed back and will get way warmer).

Start with cans with an open back and go from there.

sennheiser hd 579, got them for 100 usd, pretty comfy

bc most of the kids here dont actually have the product and are most likely shilling

I've been using the same headphones for over a decade now.

Is anybody using inear headphones for gayming? I'm tierd of those clunky fat headphones and they always seem to wearup really fast. I'm using normal inear headphones right now but I never used them for talking. Does anybody have any recommendations?

$100-150 max, preferrably lower. I do not need god-tier sound quality since I'm somewhat low on money after buying a home, I just want something that I can use for the next ~1,5-2 years before I buy a proper, more expensive one.

Because it's easier than pausing my music, taking my headphones off, taking a picture, connecting my phone to my PC, copying the picture and then posting it. Or, mobileposting.

You can get pretty great headphones for around $100 actually. I'd recommend AKG K240

these

hey its my headphones.

best set i've ever owned, and priced cheap to boot. the metal structure is why i originally bought them as i have a large head that stretches and breaks plastic ones

I had these, never again. Sound was ok, bass was too heavy, a lot of coloration and shitty treble but good soundstage if you don't use the terrible USB soundcard that comes with it.
Mic had pretty good sound quality too. Of course, a pair of proper headphones + desk mic is better, though. Never going back to headsets.

How do these sound?
I currently own the Beyerdynamic DT880 Edition and they are comfy af but not all too great for casual listening (more for mixing/mastering). The ATH M50X has a more pronounced lowend, is that right?

>cloth pads
>10 years
so you never wear them or they are now a case study for the cdc

Same here, Superlux HD 668B.

Cloud 2s. They're like takstars or something. They're pretty good.

I owned pic related before buying the Samson ones. The design is practically identical (both copy the AKG K240s design) but I love it because it's so stretchy. Also they use Superlux drivers so the Samson SR-850s are essentially just rebranded Superlux HD-681bs. I'll probably be buying a more serious pair of headphones soon though.

Attached: 1296550963_717194.jpg (2500x2500, 406K)

You need them to have a mic, or are you just wanting headphones?

G35, AKG K271 and BD 880 Pros. The AKGs are my favourite in most cases but the Beyerdynamics are much comfier for extended use.

the one you posted, previously had until they broke.

these are truly based, sound good, last long, and aren't too expensive.

The pads are pretty cheap on ebay. I get new ones whenever I notice that they're disintegrating.

>schiit
kill yourself

someone sent me these on accident when i ordered a pair of M50x's about a month ago sucks i cant use them outside of the house but i really like them

Attached: headphones.jpg (425x606, 29K)

what the fuck am i even looking at

no i game on a 144hz monitor from 2018
i ate at a nice indian restaurant too

MOOOM GET OUT MY ROOM IM LISTENING TO CRUNKCORE

Attached: 1560635790098.jpg (1024x765, 118K)

Whats the equivalent for this?
Was just gonna buy this since it's only $113 but maybe there's a far better choice?

Attached: 51kh+dlLsbL.jpg (500x500, 32K)

These just died on me. Bought some AKG K702 to replace them.

how do you like them in comparison?

i think youre bullshitting or have only tried cheap child's headphones. mine can expand big enough to cover a large watermelon and if your heads bigger than that then why arent they making documentaries about you?

They do have a more pronounced lowend, but they're also closed back and depending on the size of your head, they can be really tight.

A sony ones from 2001

I got the 598s as a christmas present and that all applies to them too. I also own AT M50s but pretty much stopped using them entirely because the 598s are so goddamn comfy.

Not perfect but they're pretty good.

Attached: 1552152528613.jpg (425x425, 18K)

K7XX
Owned for 3 years. I like them a lot. They're very comfortable to use for long sessions at my computer without taking them off. The cable that came with it broke after a year but you can easily buy a replacement Mini-XLR to 3.5mm cable for relatively cheap and better quality.
Shame about the build quality though, but that's what happens when you buy from MassDrop, these are literal chinese re-manufactured K702s sold at half the price rather than made in Austria.

Attached: massdrop-akg-k7xx.png (767x763, 405K)

MX40, pretty good, but they are losing their clamp

None. Unlike most of this board I actually took care of my ears in school so I don't need an extra peripheral just to hear.

HD650s with Schiit magni/modi amp/dac.

And in case anyone is wondering no the dac isn't worth it. Just get an amp.

I have K702 and these are comfy headphones - I really like the stiff foam and how light thse are. Also modern K702s are made in China so I baby the fuck out of these (granted, these were around 100 or so euros when I bought them)

I kept hearing about those bone earphones in some of these. The ones that you place on your skull instead of in your ear. Are those just memes or are they legit?

Beyerdynamic too but the 990 pro 250Ohms instead

Also, they cracked on the exactly same spot lmao

HD558

turns out he was actually banned several minutes later
