I played it long ago when it was fairly new (The Wii version is actually how I got exposed to the series). I can't remember much, but there is a story mode, as well as motion controls. Maybe someone can correct me, but instead of timing and directional inputs for special shots like tomahawk and cobra, it was something you selected to activate when certain conditions were met.

Very good but the first game's AI is very fickle. It will either job hard or make stupidly good shots. The second game's AI is more balanced with the early game going easier on you with it improving it's game as you progress further.
