after the shitshow that GOATS brought for more than one year (meta was 3 tanks and 3 dps, dominated the game even after various nerfs, only semi counter was 4 dps-ammond-mercy to disrupt) Blizzard decided to implement a forced 2-2-2 queue.
Now you will queue for the role you intend to play (DPS, Support, Tank) and you cant switch from that role for the whole game.
You will have a different SR for every role, meaning you wont need a smrf if you want to practise a new hero/class.
The general flexibility of the game will suffer, but it will mean less shitters and less people ignoring your team comp and going hanzo-widow when picking last.
