Extremely sporadically. Kaz claims he's trying to get back on track and the latest two-month delay was just him getting used to html5, but seeing as the last update was just a few days ago it's unclear if he can stick to it.

Hussie has really weird design sense, just look at his pre-MSPA stuff like that clown comic. I think Homestck looking good at the beginning was a bit of a happy accident caused by the MS Paint aesthetic and the simplistic art and designs which were necessitated by the fast upload schedule. If those factors didn't exist the whole thing probably would have been in Hussnasty style.

Reminder that the epilogues are dogshit and Act 7 + Credits was a perfectly fine ending.

I definitley get annoyed when people shit on Act 7. There was nothing wrong with Act 7 itself, it was really impressive and well-done, the problem was that there wasn't more beforehand to contextualize it or more afterwards to explain it.

Everyone in act 7 animation had weird, dead expressions on their faces. The whole thing looked nice, but as far away from what made homestuck charming in the first place as possible.

The weird ass Gamzee moments in Candy were one of the only redeeming parts about the entire epilogue for me, the epilogues are still garbage though

Literally the second this thing began (ie during A6I3) the comic became terrible.

Suddenly the art is absolute shit and the flashes are terrible, most of Hussie's wit is absent from the dialouge, likeable characters are turned into unlikeable cunts for the sake of them being character-developmented out of it later, Caliborn and his session begin going way too hard with all the fourth-wall and meta-stuff, and the alpha kid relationship drama is about to reach its climax.

This dude might just be my favourite villain in anything ever.

His motivations may not have been complex at all, but the way that he broke the intended narrative of the session and gradualy rose from a trod upon side-NPC to a wrathful demigod entirely through the established mechanics of sburb and Homestuck's weird time shit was incredible. I can still remember the goosebumps from when I first watched Jade: Enter and realized the imlications of what was happening.

Not to mention that his design and powers are just badass in the most teenage fantasy way ever.
