So what's the overall consensus on Yea Forums about the older Doom ports that have just been released on Xbone, PS4 and Switch? Bad probably. Personally, I'm quite happy about it, BNet connectivity controversy aside. Genuinely surprised how cheap they were too. Got my copies on Switch as I spend most of my time on the little thing besides my PC.

The music is off BPM. Enemies get stuck in doorways and corridors frequently, corpses sometimes remain solid, bullet weapons fire off center sometimes, turning with the joycon thumbstick is a chore, cant rebind controls, really weird AI behaviour in general, really rare or nonexistent monster infighting, no automap overlay. hope this helps

I laughed. Dunno why though, kinda have a soft spot for Doom 3. Granted it's a lot better with the expansion pack, as I found the last boss to be a lot more satisfying than the one in the vanilla game.

It has controller sensitivity options yeah, but no other visual options. But they have mucked about with the resolution so it'll look fine on larger, more modern televisions
