I invested in an xbox elite controller and I'm pretty satisfied. It could've been better, but overall it's pretty great. What I'm wondering is though is if I can recharge batteries in the controller when it's plugged in with the USB cable. Does anyone know?
What controller do you prefer to use when playing on PC?

no
Ok. There seems to be battery packs though. Might buy one of those instead then! Thanks
I just use the regular ps4 controller. Dark souls is the only game I actually use a controller for though
You can charge rechargeable batteries while connected via the USB cable, yes.
I use the second gen Xbone controller, got it for $15. Sometimes I use Switch pro if I want gyro.
>invested
Lol how many burgers did you have to flip for that poorfag?
For what games do you use Gyros?
I like to use the xbox controller but the build quality is shit.
It always stops working after a few months of regular use. Also the dpad is shit too.
do not, they are garbage, just get rechargeable nimh batteries that last longer, are cheaper and have more charge
fucking SACRILIEGE
360 controller is better
I've fucked around with it in RE2. Still not as smooth as Splatoon though.
What, you can?
And they can recharge through USB while in the controller? I'm usually just playing with cable, but if there is a smooth solution to recharging then I might just get the wireless adapter.
I don't know about the elite but regular xbone controller is better than 360 controller in every single way
360 is a fucking crime against humanity too
I'm pretty sure you can't, but most rechargeable kits come with 4 batteries so you always have one pair fully charged and ready to go.
I agree, especially the grip on the sticks and the triggers feel more smooth like you're not feeling the spring really. It is a slight downgrade in build quality though, can feel that in the face buttons.
It's a waste of money. The grips will peel off the back within a year among other problems. Worst build quality for a $150 controller, won't last as long as a standard.
Are you talking about the rubber grip covers? If you are, then I can see where you're coming from
I'm happy with my DS4 controller, especially in games that support it natively
but DS4Windows adds input latency up the ass even with max polling, I don't know why people keep recommending this shit
>but DS4Windows adds input latency up the ass even with max polling, I don't know why people keep recommending this shit
???
you can literally test the input lag in that app
Never use max polling as its pure placebo - the DS4 has the lowest latency of any wired controller anyway and max polling is just a battery drain.
I use it for any game with a controllable 3D camera.
