I don't understand why people hate this game so much, for me it's one of the best PS2 games.
It was 1000x times better than Dark Cloud 2 (that was a glorified mobile game like most level-5 shit anyway).
How can someone not like this game is beyond me, it has planets with varied dungeons, amazing characters with unique weapons, a decent enough story.

It is good because its a dark cloud without bloat.
I remember the main girl had a move where she farts into a sock and throws it. I didn't think anything of it as a kid but looking back that was definitely someone's fetish they snuck into the game under the guise of tee hee low brow humor.

Man i agree that Dark Cloud is one of the worst games i've played, but RG isn't much better.
Lilika and Zegram are the only cool characters. Also I agree that's it's better than DC2 but the plot is boring as fuck but that's okay it's the last reason you would want to play this anyway.
It had a nice soundtrack I especially recommend to listen to the arranged album it has a bunch of renowned composer remixing the games tracks and honestly it's amazing.

It's a game that fools you with some good production values, but in actuality is terribly designed and written.
I rmemeber putting this off because of the generic plot because I'm a fucking retard.
I like how they removed the annoying town building shit of Dark Cloud 2 and focused on the part i liked: the weapon build up system.
