Give it to me straight. Are the Hitman maps from Hitman 2016 worth $20?

Paris, Sapienza and Hokkaido are really good.
Colorado is ok.
Marrakech, Bangkok are pretty bad
no
Colorado is the worst map, the oner ones are really good
Hell freaking yes OP!
Are they really that bad?
Yes. They beat anything we got this season. IOI is being lazy.
Nope
Marrakech feels kinda disconnected, like two maps being crammed into one. Bangkok is a blast for SASO
I thought Isle of Sgail was pretty much the greatest hitman map of all time.
Only because the other missions are so good.
Not even Colorado is Hidden Valley or Absolution tier bad, but it feels that way because the other levels set a high standard.
Absolution was great though.
Bullshit, Miami was probably the best map out of both seasons.
Miami is good but kind of overrated.
>good but kind of overrated.
That's Sapienza. Going underground every playthrough is such a drag.
What's the most fun way to play nuHitman maps?
SASO
But that's just stressful. One person notices you and the whole run is ruined.
Yes but you can get them for much cheaper if you aren't a consoletard.
Once you played a few times and know the map's layout and routes it's a lot easier than you think.
Colorado is pretty fucked to do on SASO though.
Paris and Sapienza set a ridulously high standard. In truth, they're not great but all nuHitman levels still blow the classics out of the water. The only exception is 2's Hawke's Bay, it's poor tutorial mission disguised as a poor normal mission.
Mission stories off (to remove handholding), non-target kills is optional (don't restart if you do), if you set off alarm fight through the map like a man. It won't get you far if you're completionist, but it's legitimately the most fun way to play.
If I'm on master difficulty I usually run or reload if I get caught. Other difficulties I try to gun down all the witnesses.
The most fun game to go loud is Absolution by far though.
Use disguises, don't savescum when you get caught. One of the best feelings you can have is fucking up and being forced to improvise to unfuck the situation.
Hawke's Bay is a good map, the only problem is that the target is too easy.
marrakesh is awesome imo, i don't like bangkok much though, it's still excellent design, it's just the weakest level of the bunch
Is it possible to play through the game like it's Metal Slug?
Nuhitman has some amazing maps but the core mechanics are OP, along with so many convienent people by themselves. It's not that hard to get SA so after one or two more runs you could get SASO.
It's pretty hard if you're not on casual difficulty, but doable. I sometimes like to choose killing spree layout with two large firearms brought via suitcases, plus some explosive for remaining item slot, hit the security room for ammo right away and just murder my way to the targets, some of which can start map evacuation routine so you have to be fast.
If I was a teen I'd invite a friend over and take turns seeing how far each of us can get before dying.
I might try that.
Shit sounds like it would be perfect storming your way up Isle of Sgail eventually cornering your target on the highest floors.
Also this escalation contract was pretty fun as people rushed towards you and you had a handcannon of a gun.
It can get pretty cinematic if you carry second firearm in a suitcase like picrelated to allow you to also use small firearm, then once you run out of ammo you drop the pistol, throw the suitcase at someone trying to get away, equip weapon from your back, get to the case and retrieve the shotgun or something. John Wick stuff.
