For the first time the Project Diva series will be released on a non sony platform. "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39" is Hatsune Mikus debut on the Nintendo Switch.
With over 90 songs from the original series and also 10 new exclusive songs that are not in any of the PlayStation games it is the biggest title in the series.
Ontop of being uncensored they also overhauled the graphics from the shitty looking arcade models. Are you excited for Miku on the go, Yea Forums?
>Are you excited for Miku on the go, Yea Forums? No, rhythm games are the big gay
Nathaniel Ward
People have dumped the arcade version and released a launcher for it to play on Windows.
Damn, SEGA is losing so much for not releasing it o PC too.
I really want it.
Do you think that Hori will release a Switch version of the special controller for the game?
Grayson Foster
I'm just waiting for the inevitable "playing this on a platform that is not Sony just doesn't feel right" post.
James Hill
Shitposting aside I'll have to see what touch mode is like before answering that.
Grayson Jones
Any reason to get this when you already have future tone?
Ethan Parker
>Damn, SEGA is losing so much for not releasing it o PC too. These games don't sell nearly as well as you think they do, and Sega weebshit has a piss poor record on PC
Elijah Barnes
>better models >higher quality rerecordings >11 new songs (paid DLC using older models on Future Tone) >hundreds of new costumes >budget pricing Loads.
Chase Rogers
Not really. If anything you have more reason to get future tone since this is missing over half the songs.
Jeremiah Fisher
So I would basically pay full price to have cell shaded looks in 100 songs?
Parker Allen
>People have dumped the arcade version and released a launcher for it to play on Windows. w-what? link please
Austin Mitchell
Well If you're a Mikuman like me you'll get it anyway but if I had to say it's that rhythm games are almost always better on handhelds. Also what said.
>10 new exclusive songs that are not in any of the PlayStation games
Yet.
Cameron Hall
>full price It's $40
Isaac White
Wow, ten whole extra songs. That sure does make up for the 100+ that it's missing.
Mason Gomez
But a lot of the shit that guy said is flat out wrong. The models are identical, they just have a different shader. The songs are not higher quality recordings, there are 10 new recorded songs. The DLC will be cheaper than the switch game. There also aren't "hundreds of new costumes", they stated the game has 300+ modules which is the same number they gave for future tone so at best you have a couple new costumes.
If you compare them side by side FT has 140 songs more, but no cell shading. That's so far the only difference we know of.
James Lewis
I'm not good at rhythm games but I love playing them only on easy and normal mode.
Hudson Hill
>literally less than half a port we did it bros based Ninty always wins
Austin Foster
Why Future Tone like never gets on any sale in Europe? Bought the bundle that one time it was at 50%, still waiting for season pass and encore.
I've always had a passing interest in Miku (nice design, has some really nice songs) but I've never played a game since she's always been on Sony. Can any Mikufriends tell me how fun these rhythm games are?
We got several digimon games on PC, DS/3DS and it didn't stop the spergs
Jacob Green
>Project Diva >Not Mirai Into the trash it goes. Goddamn it, I just want to play GUMI's songs again but Sega won't let me.
Angel Cooper
>For the first time the Project Diva series will be released on a non sony platform What is arcade? >10 new exclusive songs that are not in any of the PlayStation games Confirmed coming to Future Tone PS4 as DLC >it is the biggest title in the series. Less than half as many songs as FT >Ontop of being uncensored Unlikely. Panty shots have been censored from the start (long before Sony stated their crusade), it's Crypton's doing
Jason Russell
This. My brain just shuts off and my fingers can't tap that fast even if I could keep up mentally. Super fun though.
>Can any Mikufriends tell me how fun these rhythm games are? Could you elaborate more? What are you asking about?
Andrew Morgan
I'm just asking if the Miku games are good fun. That said being just rhythm games, there probably isn't much to say.
Josiah Kelly
>I'm just asking if the Miku games are good fun. They are good fun, but that stuff is subjective. Heck, I don't even know what 90% of the songs are going on about and it's still fun for me.
>That said being just rhythm games, there probably isn't much to say. That's what I mean. I am not sure what to say here.
Kevin Sanchez
Sega had GUMI data in the DIVA games or something so I don't think it's them.
