No. It makes no sense to defy basic laws of biology in a video game when it concerns something that we use as a measurement of sexual dimorphism. The only reason people want to do this is to push a political narrative, and therefore they sacrifice the game's lore for lies rather than enhance it with fantasy.

In any sort of power fantasy experience, yeah. Characters in JRPGs or FPS or whatever are essentially superheroes and don't need to correlate to real world capability. We can assume that the protagonist of a typical action game is a top 0.0001% genetically gifted beyond-Olympian-level athlete, no one's looking for realism there. It's not like a human being can really take down a tank or giant robot so who cares if Solid Snake is a dude, it wouldn't be a big deal if a woman was as strong in that universe.
