I read it makes you do huge damage, but I already do crits all the time. Is it a damage boost and not crit boost?

I'm pretty sure this was the first transition they did, it's the only one that feels 100% natural, the others sound good but a little forced

It's not even worth 20 and I can say that as a fan of turn based RPGs. The combat system is fine but the bullshit 8 storyline gimmick kills all enthusiasm for progressing because you are constnatly swapping out party members and having to gear up everybody. Plus there are scenes you can only see with certain combinations of party members.

They even designed the advanced job battle themes to be led into by the character themes despite it not happening in-game

Hes literally the worst possible choice to make into a sorcerer. It completely invalidates all of his scholar abilities and turns him into only half a character in combat. Therion is by far the best candidate for the sorcerer job.

Wait for it to be at least 60% off since after beating your main character's story ~40% of the way through the game it becomes tedious and unrewarding as you steamroll every other character's story with various busted mechanics.

Because other jobs are capable of dealing much more damage than the Sorcerer. Like Warmaster and Runeblade. And Apothecary is quite honestly the most broken job in the entire game, it can do everything. Sorcerer's entire purpose is simply to exploit elemental weaknesses and get breaks faster.

I thought the exact same thing. It works really well too, For Redemption + Decisive Battle II is easily the most hype track when combined. The only ones that actually fit nicely with the boss themes are Ophilia, Alfyn and Olberic's. The others are great in their own right but just sound too different and are jarring when they try to make the transition.

Battle at Journey's End is the weakest because its opening ruins the transition.

But can you climb it?
