Why is playing on a dedicated handheld so much comfier than other forms of gaming?
Why is playing on a dedicated handheld so much comfier than other forms of gaming?
Because you can take it with you.
It's really not. Handheld gaming is objectively the worst form of gaming with only
>muh portible
fags backing it up.
you can play it while your wife's boyfriend drives you to the store
I enjoy handheld gaming on the toilet and in my bucket chair. It's comfy
comfy
There is nothing comfy about handheld trash. Handhelds are always more awkward to hold than straight up controllers.
The entire unit is for video games.
WHY CAN'T YOU PREORDER THIS THING YET AHHHHHHHHH
>gaming on the toilet
Enjoy your prolapsed anus.
but it's great m8
>no need to worry about overheating your laptop
>clunky keyboard making noise that wakes up the entire house
>have to keep close to a wall to help with the battery
Handhelds are my favourite right after PC for vidya I just wish they had better tech. Vita so far was my favorite for that but was horribly treated by Sony and Switch is nice enough but is weaker than the previous system so its a regression and I can't get behind that.
Don't forget the Go user that thing was years ahead of the times
As a physicalfag I never liked the go so much but its design is 10/10 and if Sony had a system in place more like steam/gog then it would have been a 10/10 system as well.
Honestly considering this thing if it goes on sale. Should I? Or should I just stay with the normal one
Why doesn't this shit have dock support? It makes no sense. It's not like adding a simple HDMI Out is expensive.
If you already have a Switch, there's little point in getting this aswell. Especially if you have an old Switch that can be hacked.
im thinking of buying one of these but i wonder if they'll have the joycon drift problem,
if they do i might as well buy the revised switch with better battery life.
It's $199 I make that in a day of work.
I’m waiting on the nu model to come out
I don't have one yet, most recent Nintendo thing is the og 2ds
It's not that it's too expensive it's just that it's only $100 less than a normal switch
do you sell cocaine or something, and if so what are you doing here.
The expensive thing is not the actual system but the games. You're in for a world of getting fucked in the ass buying a non-hackable Nintendo system
>PLEASE DADDY TENDIE TAKE ALL MY MONEY NOW AAAHHH!!!1
Me too. I already bought a Wii U, I'm not paying 300 more dollars for the Wii U "Pro" edition. When they release an upgraded beefier Switch, I'll consider it, especially because then it might have a catalogue of games I'm interested in.
How the hell you even play PS1 games with this thing when it lacks two shoulder buttons and is tiny as fuck?
What are you supposed to do once your face buttons stop working or your analog sticks starts drifting or your shoulder buttons stop receiving feedback? Do you just throw it away and buy a new one or are you supposed to open it up and try to fix the issue? Speaking about handhelds in general, not just the switch lite
You just bind L2/R2 to analog stick movements or something, I played through Metal Gear Solid without those two.
>comfy
How do I get comfy with a handheld? I recently got a 3DS to catch up on all the games I missed, but no matter how I try to sit, my neck ends up sore.
That just ruins these great games though. I don't want to play with inferior or worse annoying control schemes. Even if its just a super tiny little bumper type button on top of the handheld it would work and be way better than what you just said.
Whatcha sitting on?
Tried propping some pillows up and sitting on my bed, but just couldn't get comfortable. Any recommendations?
Reminder that the original GBA is the best handheld ever made. Modify one with a rechargeable battery and backlight and you are golden. SP is a solid number 2 though.
Find something like this and you'll wanna do all your gaming on it. I lay on mine and play 3DS all the time.
You either don't play games that need those or you put it in the dock and output component video to your tv and sync a DS3 with it and play it like a PS1 with component out.
Recline slightly, have a blanket over your waist. Arms to the sides and your hands resting on the blanket just above your junk.
I just like small stuff
I hope we get a Switch Micro that's the size of an iPhone 5
original fat DS is the comfiest handheld, bar none. DS lite is the most aesthetic, with SP close second for both categories.
>laptop
Are there going to be any new handheld console? Are we just going to be stuck with the switch?
I'm waiting for the XL version
